"Was" and time definitely is not what phased out the Ray Rice incident. That was the ugliest blemish on the league this year and brought the league allot of negative press and attention. If I am Goodell I am all for the media and everyone else talking about deflated footballs rather then having people pick my brain about where I stand on domestic violence and seeing and reading negative press about the whole domestic violence ordeal.
Time and resolution is what phased it out. You want that story brought all day every day when it already was THE story for 2.5 months to start the season?
New personal conduct policy and panel. Ex-FBI head investigations and settlement between Rice and the Ravens. What else is there to the story to probe?
And 100 bucks that it is still brought up at least 1-3 times next week whenever the commissioner is made available.
So Mark Brunell said this morning he liked his balls rubbed down and used for a couple practices for gameday use.
I wonder what AGod prefers.
All the QB'S apparently get time with the balls to get fit them to their liking BUT within the rules. Deflating is not allowed.
