There is a face on the right too, if you squint just right (near the part where the 3D effect gets more subtle).

HOLY SHIT. THEY LOOK YUMMY. SORTA LIKE THE SUN. IT'S RISING AGAIN!
It was an ok port yes, GZ was much much better and had support for resolutions above 1080p without having to resort to fixes.

This is going to be the sequel to end all sequels. The level of improvement is going to be out of this fucking universe.
Fox Engine is a possibility but I wouldn't be surprised if they use a propriety engine like Rising.
