The battle scenes look so slick and dynamic. Loving it. You don't really mind that the environments are actually pretty basic with the amount of style that Atlus puts in there.

Super hero? It's more of a cat burgler theme like from the 1950's serials.

They seemed to be moving with unnatural speed and abilities while wearing costumes that's where I'm getting the super hero vibe from.

Dunno if any of you guys caught this, but it seems that The Velvet Room in P5 is a jail cell, and Igor's assistants are your guards:

Definitely fitting the (obvious) notion that this is the first dungeon. Something about it being a jail cell will be key for sure.

It's a message from Hashino and the dev team to fans. He talks about how Persona 5's main influences are School Juvenile fiction and Picaresque novels. Unlike previous Persona games where the players were clearly a team on the side of "good" going after a bad guy, this time they're trying for something a little different. The story is about high school students chasing after their own interpretation of "justice" after an unexpected incident. He hopes fans will enjoy the enhanced graphics and sound in the new entry as well as party members who might be a little more ill-mannered than before.

Sounds good to me!

Also, I'm guessing it makes sense for them to return to demons as enemies. This way they can reuse the assets in other SMT games.
