Yup- there might be special 'sneaking' missions or something that requires a solo character.

Just realized that it doesn't look like your party members follow you around in dungeons anymore. I actually liked that feature in the P3.

Might just be the case that the first dungeon(or part of it) is a solo affair for potter-kun.

I'm wondering if they're foregoing Arcana in this persona and using a new categorization based on the Sins. When "Luxuria persona" shows up on screen, there are 9 squares with Latin names for the sins followed by persona. Maybe they'll use those to group them now instead of Hierophant etc.

Maybe it's sins + virtues to replace the Arcana groups.

If you freeze it just as it zooms out you can clearly make out 5 more of the sins written in Latin as well so I think this is definite. I can't see what the three on the top level are though. That would make two sins too many :/

If it is Seven Deadly Sins related, it could be Satan or Lucifer depending on what sin you think the MC represents.

If that were true it would be interesting for marketing/PR reasons alone. I mean, having Hitler show up in a Persona game as an antagonist is one thing, but a protagonist with Satan/Lucifer as canonical alter ego might get some interesting reactions, haha. It's persona though, so it could happen.

I'd be a bit sad not to fuse those guys in my end game, though.

I'm wondering how prominently featured the sin stuff is. From what I recall from P3 and P4, usage of text in opening movies and trailers was more about evoking themes than something I would take and start drawing correspondences from. Are the sins the new arcana (didn't catch any tarot references in the trailer)? I guess I gotta watch this again later, I barely noticed the sin stuff before.

It's actually a little funny for fans of the Seven Deadly Sins manga by Suzuki Nakaba. The leader in that manga is the Sin of Wrath but the first person he rejoins is the Sin of Envy followed by the Sin of Greed. Got that same trio here, lol.

Yeah, it's not canon to the franchise but it has things in it that you'll see in Persona 4 as Trinity Soul was before that game. I think it's a pretty decent show if you're not too nitpicky about stuff. It definitely has a great cast of characters too.
