Wave 2 was also 1 week after the US although we got all 6 "in time" when some were delated to late december in NA
Wave 3a was ~2 weeks before the US
Wave 3b is mostly in line with the US, or a bit later (Megaman, Sonic, Dedede, Metaknight and Shulk should arrive on 20th)

I don't think there a lot of logic behind all this.

Is it hopeless at this point to find a Mega Man amiibo? I didn't want to get involved in this craze but I would really like a single Mega Man. Unfortunately my city is a veritable shit hole for this.
 
My Gamestop just told me my Shulk preorder is now limited to one per customer. I wanted two, but that's cool because I also ordered one from their online store.I ordered three in total to be sure to get two, so my plan worked so far.

What I will fight over is that they told me the money I spent on the second one must "be moved over to something else." I don't want any off their other crap, I want a refund. I paid for a Shulk. Shulk or I want my money back

Maybe get a different amiibo, & if you don't want it, use it to trade for something else or sell it?

Wait, what the fuck? Are you being serious? I hope my GameStop doesn't pull some BS like that on me. I want the two Shulks I pre-ordered like I want to.

At this point if you're set on paying retail price, it looks like you'll have keep an eye on when retailers will get him, which most places have him as 2/20. Toys 'R' Us supposedly has him a week earlier on 2/13. Start looking for him on those dates. It won't be hopeless though. I'm sure if you're willing to look, you'll find one.

Same for mine when he came in. That box could have held about 10 amiibos. Nope just on says TRU lol

Given when I went to Gamestop a couple years ago weeks after Fire Emblem Awakening released, I was given the option to move it over to a new purchase, not so much of a refund. Which was fine because Etrian Odyssey IV came out :x But don't expect a refund so much as a transfer what you paid to another purchase.

Threaten to call the DM, they just don't want to take the cancellation and guess what by Policy we have to take the cancel if a customer requests it.

You guys are getting screwed by the hustle, they 100% have to refund you in the method of payment you used if you request it

Lol, I'd laugh in their face if I was told I couldn't get a refund. They just don't want to take the hit on their performance stats.

I follow Valyrian Steel on facebook. (if you're a Game of Thrones fan and want to collect swords and show replicas...there's nobody better. http://www.valyriansteel.com/shop/ ) They just tweeted...

"Assuming there is not a West coast port shutdown because of a labor strike, regular Oathkeeper and Jaime's Sword should ship in Mid-March."

So there may be some truth to the labor strike, and may very well be the culprit for some of these delays.
