Looks the same to me.
So my Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary Boxset has arrived, didn't think it was going to come today but it did (it's just after 8pm as well lol):

In the art book, there is some interview/talk thing there and comments but my Japanese is not good enough to be able to read most of it (and I can't look up the Kanji due to bad eyesight making seeing what I have to look up a challenge) so hopefully someone else can translate any good bits from it. Or maybe I'll try and magnify it at some point and see what I can make out lol.
Anyway, the quality of the box set is pretty sweet, going to try one of the discs before I go to bed.

First impressions: Video Quality is awesome, it looks great. Audio sounds fine to me as well.
Doesn't have any Japanese sub options which is probably the only downside I see. (outside of the Op of course which is always subbed on TV anyway lol)
The BD menu looks pretty nice as well.

Anyway, some drama CD stuff:
Checking the drama CD, first track on it is: 世界が終わる前の which I think means "Before the World Ends"? (I believe this one is set in the past)
The second one is: デジモンミステリーファイル・千年の封印を解け! which means "Digimon Mystery File: Solve the Millenium Seal" (Best translation I could think of)
Narrator says it's the summer of 2001 aka before 02 happens.
Can't translate the dialogue much (at least not without a lot of listening lol) but Tailmon and Wizarmon are talking a lot just now in the first one
Don't have time to listen to them both completely just now so this is all the info I can give today about the CDs.
edit: no idea how it happened, I was skipping through the Mystery file one and I heard "Palmon Warp Shinka/Digivolve..." Joe: Warp Shinka/Digivolve? "Rosemon"

Ultimate = Mega in japanese for those confused.
They warp digivolved in the PSP game as well IIRC . But yeah if they don't mega digivolve in tri , some fans are going to be upset.

They have their own unique digivolution scenes in the psp game so you can check that out if you want to see the Mega's ^^

I know about the game, I was referring to the mega/ultimate thing lol.
I only heard Rosemon during my skip through the CD. Literally, I didn't process much of what they were saying outside of it being set in Summer of 2001 and Tai and Takeru weren't around for some reason. Never heard Hikari in the CD either. (though Agumon did Digivolve near the end so maybe Tai was there but not speaking? idk unless he spoke and I skipped it)
That said, I think it's very safe to assume (due to utter consistency now thanks to the PSP game and this) that if the Megas are in Tri (which we all hope they are I think
) that Rosemon will be Palmons mega evo. (I was hoping when I heard this that Hikari's mega evolution was in it just so we'd know if they planned Ophanimon like the PSP game or Holydramon like the movie. but no Tailmon/Hikari in it 
)edit: I just checked with Onkeikun, a translator in the Digimon community, there is no real explanation for Rosemon. She just warp-digivolved because "Mimi-chan power" Hahaha, I'm not complaining though. I like Rosemon
The "Before the World Ends" is interesting. Again, just skipping through it but I gather it's either set before the chosen arrived or after the Devimon arc (I'm assuming before the chosen arrived in the Digiworld). I think (I stress this because I was skipping around a lot and may have misheard some stuff) that Wizarmon and Tailmon were searching for the crests. They met with Leomon and Ogremon at one point in it. Oh and I think it's implied that Wizarmon knew about Tailmon being the 8th Digimon even back at the time this is set.
Honestly, it has a rather serious tone (compared to the other Drama CDs which are usually a bit of fun from the translations I've read of them) that you'd almost think they were planning to make it an OVA or something. (hell I wish it was lol).

I'm hoping they go with Ophanimon as it is a much more natural evolution from Angewomon. (assuming again, that all 8 original Digimon get their Mega forms in Tri)
We'll see when Tri is out but I'm still hoping for Ophanimon and not fucking Holydramon/Magnadramon.

I agree, I like Orphanimon more. Works better as a step up from Angewoman and she continues to be a counterpart to Seraphimon

I'm not bothered about the counterpart bit, just that Ophanimon is a more natural evolution. If Gatomon had digivolved into a beast-type Digimon, I'd probably be on board with it but she didn't. She digivolved into an Angel digimon and therefore a Celestial Digimon like Ophanimon is a natural evolution from it personally. Just like while some people might prefer Plesiomon for Gomamon's evo, Vikemon is a more natural evolution from Zudomon.
If they do this for Tri (which they may not, the writers of the anime may decide differently than whoever is in charge of the Toys) then I'll deal but I won't be happy with the evolution.
Also it is a fucking crime that Lilymon and Wizarmon are so low on that list even if they made the top 30, that is too low for them imo. >_<

Man that looks awesome, I soooo wish we could get a box set of Digimon Adventure with Japanese audio. The dub suuuuuuucks and I can't go back to watching that.

Honestly, I could actually tolerate her up to that point, but when I saw her illusion, she lost any good will I had toward her.
Comparing her illusion with the others makes her look like an awful person.
Hikari's is about as shallow, but at least it was a Miss America "world peace" thing.
Tbf, they sort of left it late to think up proper character flaws/dreams/whatever so they went with whatever they could think of.
Ken and Takeru's are probably the most legit ones (and Codys to an extent) as Takeru wanting his family back together has been a thing since series 1 and Ken... that is basically his final acceptance after everything he has gone through in 02.
edit: I'm not even sure what they could do for Yolei's one. As for Hikari, they could have gone with her wanting to be a teacher I guess (well that is a dream according to the final ep so yeah... then again they still didn't include an image of her being a teacher near the end which I've ranted about before >_>)? Though her one with "Do you make sure you take care of her" (to the kid with the Nyaromon though yes I know in Japanese it's more "Do you like your Nyaromon") makes me think it's like a Digi pet simulation reality or something. "Do you make sure to take her to the toilet and feed her food?" lol.
Also I love Gatomon in that scene with Hikari. She's all *sits back and lets her partner figure out what's going on* more or less.

I get it, she's not recognized in a big family but geeze, selfish much?? How the heck did Ken end up with her? Despite the sibling thing, she manages to pop out 3 kids :/

What Yolei's felt like was a character flaw that should have been addressed earlier. It's pretty obvious that she doesn't like being in a big family. You think it would be an interesting conflict between wanting to be an only child but still LOVE-ing your siblings.
That could have been an easy growth point for her.
Hikari is harder to say since her character is basically Jesus, so "world peace" fits her. Maybe the Dark Ocean being gone?
Just goes to show that she doesn't care as long as she's happy.

Hikari might be 'jesus' lol but she does have her own character flaws as well. Her biggest one being her dependance on her brother which got fucking dropped after episode 13 and never resolved/talked about again. She's one of my favourite characters and not only does she get shoved to the side mostly in this series but one of her most important character flaws gets brought up in one ep and then is like "Goodbye" to it.
At least Takeru who also got shafted got a character flaw/issue that lasted for more than one episode (and that they were consistent in keeping his "I want us to be a family again" thing in the illusion episode)

I can understand the Dark Ocean thing. In a way, it's the whole Dark is the opposite of Light thing.
But the way they treated Hikari in the final battle pissed me off. She stood up to freaking Myotismon before, she was ready to die to save her family and friends. Gatomon lost her best friend to him. Yet Gatomon says almost nothing after identifying the voice as Myotismons and Hikari (and Takeru who had faced darker beings as well) were 'frozen in fear'.
That will never stop pissing me off whenever I think about it. I like 02 (which I usually mention in these discussions) but man, some of the stuff they did annoyed me so much. Even more so now that I've watched the whole series in both EN and JP.
Lack of Character development, the way some characters were treated, the dropped plot points or character flaws, etc.
Annoys me so much. Hope Tris writer is good/consistent at least.

I thought of the dependence thing, but I couldn't think of a good way to illusiofy it.
Her and Takeru's flaws being dropped was really dumb, especially when their arcs seemed to be going to way more interesting places than stuff like the World Tour arc.
I hope they bring back their flaws in Tri. (And maybe Hikari could take up photography again and use it this time.)
Also Takeru's "I hate the power of darkness" flaw leading into the DNA evo with Cody. It was so anti-climatic. It was basically "Well... plot dictates we DNA digivolve now. Let's do it" compared to Ken/Davis and Yolei/Hikari's DNA sequences which were all nicely done/nicely led up to (in comparison to TK/Codys one)
I wander if the team in Tri will find Mimi's hat which is probably still floating around the Digital World and Hikari's whistle which Gatomon had but we don't see her with it in 02. (seriously, wth happened to it?)
Seriously, I almost want to at least see a scene where the guys stumble onto Mimi's hat somewhere in the Digital World. It'd be funny lol.
