Let me know, we can hit the KFC near Broadway Station
I dunno. If it's GRILLED chicken, why not just go to Swiss Chalet instead ? Just saying...

Oh, and I hate KFC's french fries. They are the worst.

might as well get El Pollo loco which is decently good.

Or if there is a good middle eastern place near you go there for some roasted chicken served with some garlic butter and pita bread.

hopefully it tastes better than their crispy chicken, which tastes... not all that stellar in comparison to original recipe (or The King of Crispy Chicken Popeye's!)

I tried this last night. I got the 2 piece Kentucky Grilled Chicken Meal with a wing and a thigh. It tasted pretty good. The thigh was a bit dry in a few spots but the meat came off the bone very easy and overall I was impressed by the taste.

I got the meal with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and green beans. It also comes with a biscuit. All together it came to 525 calories and 24 grams of fat.

If you forgo eating the biscuit and have double green beans for your sides, the meal only comes to 270 calories and 13 grams of fat.
Yum, that does sound good indeed.

Crispy is still good as FUCK. I prefer original recipe.

I'll have to try this, sounds good. I'm excited anytime a fastfood joint decides to offer something healthy ... especially a case like this, where it isn't just some one-off item, but actually several different things.

swiss chalet ftw
dont know if they have that in US though

Yep there are a few, and it's yummy.

However, what does that have to do with this? Swiss Chalet is a sit-down joint, not fast food ... or is that different in Canada?

you can order it for delivery and they have "swiss chalet to go" resturants which is the prety much like kfc (minus the drive through)

So basically you like dry chicken? Okay, gotcha, I can see where you'd like KFC then. It's understandable, similar to the well-done-with-A1 affliction.
Or perhaps I like a middle ground of juicy. That sounds about right. Yeah.

kfc chicken is so far from dry. they pressure-fry it to be sure it's not dry. and even if they DIDN'T pressure-fry it, they'd do what most other fast food chicken joints do and inject their chicken with hfcs solutions to keep them sweet and moist.

That's kind of cool ... they don't have those by me.

I love KFC Spicy Big Crunch's, so good. And who the hell brought Shit Chalet into this thread, that place is terrible.

I had a piece earlier today. The skin was nothing to write home about, but the chicken itself had a pretty good flavor.

I had some on friday (didn't even know they grilled chicken) and...I think I had the right idea when I stopped buying fast food for the past few months.

Didn't they already have grilled chicken? It was tasty. The marinade was similar to the long discontinued Rotisserie Gold. I bet it tastes better than El Pollo Loco whose white might is always dry as heck.

We just got a bucket a couple days ago and my grilled chicken is by far better and I consider myself mediocre at best when it comes to cooking.

If you can't cook better than a fast food joint you're doing something wrong.

I tried this the other day and it tastes like....grilled chicken. Nothing to write home about but not terrible either. I don't go to KFC often so I'll probably stick with the fried stuff when I do go there.

Dunno if they do this in the UK yet but did you just try it on it's own? I love their zinger tower but grilled instead of fried would work for me.

Spices were good but the skin was the only thing that was different. Once you get the skin off, it's the exact same piece of chicken as the other stuff.

Just got my free piece...quite a big one too. Very juicy and delicious. :D

Hmm. At my KFC they were limiting to drumstick or thigh -- not a great way to entice those who prefer white meat.

I thought it was pretty good.
