There's nearly
30
unique movesets between all the trick weapons (considering that each has two forms). Magic being gone is a good thing imo. Backpedaling and hammering on the Soul Arrow button is balls.

Ooooh, that's what they mean by it being less of an RPG.

The loot is meaningless in a sense.
 
I don't know why I'm so pumped about this game.. I've got a grand total of about 5 hours of souls experience and really only pre-ordered because I wanted to take advantage of that PSN store promo...

But it looks absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to finally sink my teeth into one of these games.
 
GAF I'm having a hard time deciding on my character.

I'm going with dex build and pimp cane.

Should I go with something like the Penguin or Willy Wonka as my name?

Admittedly if there's a dex spear though I'd love to go with Oberyn Martell. Is there a dex spear later on? I wonder...
 
The 8.0 from Crave was generous given how much they dislike it.

According to them :

- Lame bosses that you kill on first try for the most part

- Lack of equipment and cool rewards

- Finishing the game with starting gear or so

- Too much action while not being anywhere near the level of recent hack and slash games

- Less RPG elements

- Magic and Guns almost useless

8.0 ?

Honestly those are both pluses for me. I disliked the way stats were handled in my time with Demon's and I love being able to upgrade equipment that suits my playstyle as opposed to grinding out gear.

Oh I'm sure the game will be fine. And more weapons have always been added in patches and DLC, I'm totally not even concerned about it.

I can see a lot of review bitching that this isn't "Dark Souls 3" instead of it's own thing, though.
 
This game seems favour a more fast combat than other souls games, to I was actually thinking of starting as a Noble Scion with a preference in skill weapons and guns.

With that mechanic of hitting fast to regain health I think I will prefer something faster to a hard hitting slower weapon.

Also to my understanding a well placed shot can stun the enemy and leave him open for a counter so weapons will be useful, they feel almost like the parry dagger.

Anyways super Excited, but EU pleb here, so need to wait 2 more days :(
 
yeah Amazon bros worried about not getting it tomorrow just keep sending some emails bitching....if you're not a Prime member I got my shipping waived AND additional $10 bucks refunded off the game and they are still guaranteeing I'll get it tomorrow.

Wtf?! Especially at the bolded.

The boss fight have been phenomenal from what I've seen.

The guns are meant for parrying and whatnot, so I hope they didn't try to attack with them lol
 
Of the 5 games I thought could be great this year, Uncharteds been delayed and I ain't confident we'll get Persona 5. After the disappointment of so many big games recently, I need Bloodborne to be great, at least better than Dark Souls 2 but in Miyazaki we trust.
 
Something is frustrating me... I despise dying and I want to avoid dying against Cleric Beast. But you have to either beat or defeat him in order to start leveling up, right?

Fuck, that means I'm basically boned. I want to level up before engaging him even the first time. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!
