Lmao know that feel

How do you equip cocktails and use again?

Menu >>> Bottom Menu slots are the Quick Menu (should be 6 of them)

Cycle through them with Down on the DPAD. Use with Square

Easy Peasy

There is also a shortcut menu attached to the Right Side of the Touch pad and Gesture Shortcuts on the Left Side

Maybe im missing something obvious but does it tell you what kind it is anywhere?

You're not, it is a little obtuse and isn't explained. At work so explanation will be a bit sketch, but see on the item description, the symbols for strength, skill, etc? The better the letter, A being best, the better the damage scaling. Also, the requirement for the weapon can be a good indicator as well.

I got that, but the torch looks so much cooler so I've been using it anyways.

I do have the torch, forgot about that. I'll have to check it out.

You gonna love the Kirk Hammer!

Make sure to explore its FULL Moveset

R1, R2, Back Step R1/R2, Tranform attacks, Jump attacks, Roll/Evade attacks, Falling Attacks, Charge attacks Super COmbos etc.... Its gets nuts man

Oh man can't wait!

YO ! Is there any way to compare weapons / armors in the shop to the one currently equipped other than moving away from the stop and looking into my inventory and try to remember all of the stats of the item in the store ?

asking again for the new page..... I assume theres no way ?

Lol exactly why I've just avoided buying it from the merchant. Torch looks so cool! As does dat ashen robe

Last night I got stuck on BSB, I think my biggest issue was not wanting to grind for
antidote or blood vials
. It's also the first time I haven't had 20 bullets upon respawning lol. Seems like the fight itself isn't hard at all, but even one slip up
or neglecting to use antidote
means rekt. As usual, I came really close to killing it the first time, haven't come quite as close since (but still do a bit over half damage). I don't want to summon, I'd much rather just keep trying until I beat it myself, but it's nice to at least have it as a last resort if I just straight up can't beat a boss or something.

So, should I move from Kirkhammer to Ludwigs Blade? How are fellow souls bros liking it?

I haven't gotten Ludwig's yet, but I'm wondering the same thing. My original plan was to use the Kirkhammer as a temporary placeholder until I got Ludwig's, but now I'm liking the hammer so much I'm no longer sure that I want to switch over.

That boss on top of
the castle is fucking a pain in the ass.
I must have tried about 20 times and finally had to summon someone to help. I'm level 60 at the time btw. When we did it co-op we barely survived it.

I couldn't get anyone to help me so I had to solo. The rewards are certainly worth it though.

I need an advice, please: If I'm carrying around like 5000 echoes, is it a good idea to go back to a lantern to spend them on my character or is it better to go on until I find a new one so that I don't need to kill all the enemies again?
What is the best strategy here?

Usually when you have a weapon equipped and you're looking at another one it shows improved weapon stats in blue and worse stats in red. That's the way it's been in previous games.

But if you're in the store, I'm not entirely sure you can. All the weapons in their base forms are there so I was comparing the base weapons.

Has anyone found the Oedon Writhe rune yet? Apparently it
gives you two bullets after a visceral attack.
I'm dying to get it.

Welp, I was always trying to get behind.

I feel your pain
The go to advice for that boss appears to be avoid getting hit which is extremely unhelpful
I feel like people that dont have trouble with that boss have a high poison resist and dont realize it

Ive been having the same problem because in that final 25% u take on poison just from hitting it. So u basically have to hit it once run away and try to get enough time for the stupid long use time antidote

I feel like the only way is to use counterattacks with blunderbuss and hope it leaves you just barely not poisoned but that gets real hard in the final stage

Since this game uses checkpoints and has items the give a set number of echoes instantly it never really makes sense to hold on to large numbers of echoes.

Spend them as you get them. Set goals that you wnat to spend on and just farm the echoes needed once you clear areas.

Otherwise you are just risking losing all those echoes to being wasted. Buy supplies, Level up, Upgrade.. Constantly spend them and grind out the big spending when neccessary in a controlled manner

Thats the Souls gameplay in a nutshell and allows you to give up the stress of losing all that sweet echoes

How big is the chance of an unforeseen acci- OMG BIG GUY BROKE THROUGH THE WALL AND HE'S MAULING YOU! (or in my case, the ground/planks fell away and i got stuck in the sewer area and died with my 2.5k echoes and lost them )

YOU DIED!

It's pretty wise. Because you never know what's ahead, There might not even be a lantern, Just a boss.

So let me get this straight. Unlike previous games, you have to kill the enemy who killed you before you can get your souls blood echoes back? Haven't reached a boss yet, but holy crap if that's true.

PSA: Amazon gave me a $10 credit because my game delivery was late. I didn't even have to ask.
_______________________________________________________________________________

I got all the way to the second boss, somehow missed the first (?), but never found more than 2 lamps.

I did however find literally like 10 shortcuts. This game is hella confusing. I'm not sure I'll be able to find my way back. I also have a hard time telling different areas apart visually. Everything looks great but very same-y.

Yeah, I like the hammer but the heavy attack doesn't have the AOE id like.

Been doing some co-op (finally) so I'll probably just buy it anyways.

It does but its a "sweet spot"

It requires more aiming than you think it would but once you got it down you do some SICK damage with it

I couldn't get anyone to help me so I had to solo. The rewards are certainly worth it though.

Can you help me with that comment cause I'm confused.
All I seemed to get was a crown, and then ability to join a covenant, and another letter?
Am I missing something great here?

Currently at the first boss. Found a super-satisfying shortcut from the start of the area to the boss. Along the way, I found a
sewer tunnel
with an ominous-looking
boar
at the end of it, but I backed off before I could provoke it, making a mental note to come back later. Also found a
music box
and used insight I found
in the sewers
and leveled up six times. You can level up before the first boss... Hopefully it'll help.

Not always but enemies steal your soul/blood kinda makes sense! They have glowing eyes to reflect they have your stuff!

Not always. It seems like it's random if an enemy has it or a pool will be left, I've never seen a boss take them yet.

Head back to the Hunter's Dream. There you can buy the Katana (which is badass), a great new pistol, and the Cainhurst armor.( which is also badass)
