Bloodborne |OT2| Praise The Moon

So I'd like to get the "true" ending or whatever. Is there anything I need to do (or not do) in order to get this? I'd like to know beforehand since I'm not terribly far (just beat the second boss). Also, does it matter where I send NPCs (chapel/clinic)? Like will I miss out on great items or access to those

that I need for the true ending if I send people to the wrong place? Thanks in advance. :)
 
I'm being summoned successfully in front of bosses, but every time we're about to beat the boss the summoner dies :(. I wish I could tell them to fall back and let me aggro/beat the boss.
 
It just let me summon Father G to help me fight the Cleric Beast. The bell ended up bringing another person, too. It was hilarious, 3 people just completely destroying the boss.

Ok, I succeeded. The reward was a
Bloody Messenger Head Bandage

No the npc thing has no effect on getting the true ending, just the
cords

It's been said many times in the thread, but suspend/resume breaks connectivity in Bloodborne. If you have not exited the app do so and relaunch Bloodborne. This worked for me yesterday.
 
0 deaths so far... do I head for Cleric Beast or Father G first :/

Having trouble summoning players when I really need help and ran into a number of bugs either falling into abyss or getting stuck between objects. The game so rich with atmosphere and gameplay so perfect I can't even get mad.

Ah yes, you have a valid point with the bell maidens. Especially because they're oh-so-conveniently hidden in spots you can't get to easily. I have to admit that drove me mad. They're even more annoying in Chalice Dungeons.
 
Oh, haha. I did it. First boss down. Waltzing methodically around him really didn't work for me. I went in super aggressively and killed him without Molotov in the face and only using 3 vials!
 
First ever soul game and I am loving it. Started with cleaver and took me about 7 tries to beat cleric beast because of the bullshit that is that bridge. Beat father and bsb in 2 tries each. Just picked up ludwigs holy blade and was killing stuff in the unseen village with relative ease. Great game and am mad I am volunteering at a comic con this weekend in Seattle instead of playing.

Did get Troy baker to sign my staff badge though so I have that going for me.

Why can't I summon or get summoned in the area that's called Hypogean Gaol in the HD headstone/teleport? It won't even try using the bells, try to use either one and you just get that dull "can't use now" sound.

Level 70 and aside from spending 2 points on Skill to wield Ludwig all my points have gone in VIT/STR/END. Violent Past. Very happy with the results so far. There was one Skill weapon I wanted to use, but not at the risk of spreading my character too thin.

I'm 32/50 right now using Ludwig +10 and am close to 700 attack. Also over 400 with Blade of Mercy +9. That thing attacks faaaast.

Yeah I don't think you can even get them until after about the 8th or so boss so I wouldn't worry just yet. As long as you get them before heading to the final boss you can go and get them

After beating Vicar Amelia, the cutscene tells you a password which you'll need to open a door in Cathedral Ward. No need to remember the password though as it just shows up as a text option when entering the next place.
 
Anyone else get IR on their plasma due to the HUD in this game?


Wish there was opacity slider. No HUD option, but you can't get by without it.

Have you been to the bottom level of the study hall? If not might be worth trying to get there
 
Quick question. For whatever reason, before I advance the main story, I feel compelled to do all the available optional areas first. All that's left for me to do now is
Unseen Village
.

I'm reading it's really hard and should be saved for endgame, but I'm assuming if co-op is allowed, it shouldn't be that unreasonable for a level 46 character to make it through with a group?

If it is, though, I guess I'll just suck it up and move on with the story path.

I'm at the healing church workshop but the bell is greyed out. In fact, both the co-op and summoning bells have been greyed out since my fight with the BSB (who I finally beat!). No password is set. Shit is set to worldwide, and I'm online. I have 5 insight.

What is going on?
 
Truly fucking opposite of encouraging me right now, From Software.

Having these major glitches right now during a e.lvl 4 playthrough is too much.

Suddenly, all my ammo is gone (I had 40+).
 
Ok. I think last night I was tired and frustrated and just needed to step back.

On two tries I now cleared out the entire Bon fire area, opened the short cut before the first boss and bought the upgraded clothes in the dream world.
 
Right, the Raven NPC is waiting outside Cathedral Ward telling me not to go to the chapel as she has business there. Should I go anyway? I think you can help her in a fight.

Yeah! What's up with that? I'm waiting for like 30 minutes ringing my Beckoning Bell like an idiot and I get nothing, then the moment I ring my Small Bell I get summoned! It's a bunch of crap.

okay, so I really don't want to screw this up. Apparently, if you kill Iosefka BEFORE rom, you don't get one from her? Well I already did that, so thats one missed. However, I still have the prostitute girl alive as well as I never went to the old abandoned workshop. Lastly, I have to kill that wetnurse to get the other one. So I can still get three right? Do I have to do anything first before they show up, or can I screw those up the same way I did Iosefka?

I was stuck between trees and couldn't do anything. I quit and continued and I was standing right next to it. Could continue as normal. Awesome.

I did with Dark Souls. Put 300 hours into that game and it took over a year to remove the HUD after I finished playing. That was a Panasonic G20.
