If that's Duping i'm dissapointed, but if it's real then i'm worried.

I'm currently playing a e.lvl 4 playthrough. I can't spend a single soul on anything other than weapon upgrades and consumables. Hence, why I've got 99x of everything this early at the game :)

You wouldn't possible even think that I would do such a disgraceful thing as duping :3?

ok, i'm at the final boss
gherman
but for now i go to farm some echoes to buy gear and weapons from the messengers, and speak to every npc

a question for who beat the game: the progress of the chalice dungeons will be carried in ng+ ?

Nah dude, too slow and takes up too much stamina. Cane is easy mode, you just need some patience. Does the same thing as R2 with less start up, more range, and less cool down.

As a cane player turned axe player, the Axe's R2 is too good. Not to mention the staggering and knocking the enemies on their asses that it does.

Woot, Blood-Starved Beast is done.

Got it on my second try (today), after farming bullets and vials for a while.

Is it me, or this game places a lot more importance in parrying than any of the Souls games? I finished all three Souls with little to no parrying, here it seems like it's vital.

so aparently blood chunks are very rare? damn it I wanted to upgrade both kirkhammer and holy blade :/

im leaning towards the blade lately, even pumping points into skill now, but I still love and use the hammer's R2 charge alot :(

Dearbeast Paal
and
Vicar Amelia
weren't too much trouble. Former took four or so shots, latter I beat on my second I think.

I got a very important question:

Forbidden Woods Spoilers
WHERE THE HELL IS THE SHORTCUT THAT LEADS TO THE LAMP POST?!?!?!?! I am right now standing before the cannibal NPC.

That you can take damage when you are already on the ground is the stupidest thing ever.
Who thought this was a good idea.

Get hit by the charge attack of the 3. Boss of the first chalice dungeon and before I can do anything he charges up a huge ground slam and kills me.

Where do i get the key to the door that is near
Cathedral Ward, where there is a big enemy with a ball in chain as a weapon, and you go down a stair with a room full of pots?

Without shields, you are left with dodging or parrying as your defensive options. Dodging is typically safer though.

Thrust is well, the damage you do with thrust attacks. Blunt i'm assuming blunt stuff, altough i haven't found alot of blunt weapons, so that might be slashing in general or something.
Near the weapons stat requirements you see letters ranging from A to E, these tell you how good the scaling that attribute has on your weapon, giving you an overall higher damage.
A (or S, altough i don't know if that exists in Bloodborne) is what you want, so if you find a weapon with good skill scaling, and you're a skill character. You might wanna use that weapon since it would work alot more effectively than if you had like 30 skill and used a strength based weapon, while your strength was like 10.

Oh ok I see, is thrusting attk's done with R2?

It does. Some bosses become trivial if you know how to parry them. Because of the previous games I keep falling into the habit of trying to parry too close to the enemy (previous games you parry with a shield). I keep forgetting you're firing a gun which has a low to mid range so you can parry farther than melee range.

I just know that I'll have issues with #3 boss :I

Is there another axe in the game that has better strength scaling? I love the feel of the starter axe but I'm sure the D scaling isn't going to be my BFF later on...

The Hunter Axe is great even as an End Game weapon. At +10 it has a B in Strength and D in Skill (which still gives a pretty good boost) and a base ATK of 196. You can use it for the entire game if you love the moveset of it and personally I feel that it has one of the best movesets. You can also use Fire/Bolt Paper and the Arcane Buff item on it.

All of the weapons are completely viable, but the Hunter Axe is definitely one of the best. It's also the only "Axe".

So lost in the Forbidden Forest, am I going the right way?
Just activated the lift around the building with the snake people and NPC, I'm at a lake with fireflys, where do I go?

Hit circle and left or right before his attack connects.

There's a mechanic there you missed.

Thank you. Your responses have been amazing lol

I've been running round central yarnham for about an hour now and just can't find the path to the other side of 2 locked gates:
One at the entrance to Central Yarnham and the other by the
Brute banging the door
How do I get there?
