*shock and awe*

guess it's funny how Underwood will be running at the same time as real life

hopefully it aint as bad as 3

Let's hoping they ramp up the drama in season 4.

Season 3 was decent, but it lacked the bite and interest that the first two seasons had. It became a mostly straight forward political drama.

Season 3 started off great but became slovenly and uneven as it went on. There's still a story to tell but I'm not as enamored as I once was.

I'm about halfway through season 3 and I'm enjoying it way more than season 2 so far. Unless it completely falls apart in the back half of the season, I can't imagine it being worse than the borefest that was season 2. At least in season 3 Frank is being challenged by people.

I haven't gotten around to watching Season 3 yet. Hearing that it isn't so hot kind of puts me off of it, since the show is already a pretty slow burn.

Season 3 almost felt like a different show. I kept expecting him to up his game and reveal some long con that paid off, but he was just a beaten man throughout the whole season. It was still really good TV, but S1 & S2 were more interesting to me.

Agreed. Season two was...not very good. Or entertaining. Season three was a huge improvement.

I feel like S1 is some of the best TV ever... the whole thing just pulsated with drama and suspense. then they did a ballsy thing by taking the main story arc in a completely different direction but the results the were a kinda meh. i'm a little ambivalent at this point but however many more seasons there are i'll binge watch day 1 regardless

S3 was tight. I'm glad they backed off Frank's invincibility and played up the politics more than last season. My only major gripe was the subplot with the book. Pointless.

The overly long political manouevring and worldwide peacekeeping was boring. They are big ideas but you can move away from reality - that's probably why season 1 works. The end of season 3 is better but it's too late at that stage. Also, there are some characters and story points which aren't developed enough.

The hacker guy would be like a rejected deux ex side mission, complete with guinea pig augmentation.

I enjoyed Season 3, and I love the setup the have for S4.

Now just make Claire a direct antagonist for Frank and it will make an amazing show, even if it doesn´t make sense, I´ll be entertained

The ending to season 3 was worth the season 3 doldrums. I am percheD for this season. Give me my life.

My body isn't ready!

Original BBC House of Cards show spoilers:

....I would be surprised if they didn't, since that's the whole thing about the show.

This needs to be the last season. The concept can only go on so long before there's no drama and Frank seems invincible, which is already happening. It's pretty much the same problem Dexter had.

Season 3 was almost as if the writers were a dog chasing a car and then didn't know what to do with it when they caught it.

I was for some reason always under the impression that the seasons of the remake paralleled that of the original House of Cards (which only ran for 3). Haven't watched the US version.

Yeah they've all been good really.

I didn't like where Claire's character went towards the end though. Still, I'm way down for more.

Season 3 was much better than Season 2.

The thing that really needs to improve are the ridiculous policy initiatives they come up with on the show.

I mean America Works, honestly? The whole idea of it is too ridiculous to even fathom.

Well S3 was alright, I hope they try to end this show now. It started off really good.

This seems like the opposite point of S3...

I didn't mind season 3, but it did feel like it only existed to set up season 4 to me. Hopefully they can deliver with season 4.
