Look, I don't know about you guys but when I was twelve I had crushes on hot teachers in my school. And take my word for it some of them were smokin' hot and much better looking than Mary K.

Now let me tell you something, if any of those teachers made a pass at me I guarantee you they'd be pregnant with my 2 kids as well. Guaranteed.

Now, does that make it right? No it doesn't. But the 12 year old boy who was jerkin off furiously to his teachers way back when still lives on inside me. So, to me she is what I always wanted but was never given. But at least someone got it. For that I salute her and wish her well.

Now here comes the blatant hypocrisy on my part. If the roles were reversed and it was a middle aged man having sex with a 13 year old girl... yeah I wouldn't like that one bit, and if this were my son I wouldn't be too happy either. But for me it's a fantasy thing so there really is no logic to it.

I completely understand the hate she gets, and it's warranted, but in my sick hot teacher fantasy world she's a god damn hero and will remain one.

The fantasy is much better than the reality, unfortunately. That kid may never have a chance to have a healthy, fulfilling, normal, loving relationship now. 13 year old boys are easy targets and she basically preyed on one of them. Kids put a lot of trust in authority figures and she abused it.

If a teacher convinced you this was acceptable behavior at 13 you probably would have gone along with it and suffered the same consequences.

That kid and her are married now living a normal life with children. Mary and her husband are co-hosting the event.

Bah. I can't imagine any negative psychological effects on young dudes. Guys want sex all the time. It's all good. I would have gone for it at that age, and I'd tell my son to go for it. Well, maybe if she were a little hotter.

Well, in the end it worked out for them somewhat. You gotta give 'em that.

And as far as loving, healthy relationships go... I've seen people in "normal" relationships do far worse. Far, far worse.

Well they still together he waited 7 years for her to get out the can and they got married. Which is a whole lot more than I can say about a lot of other relationships.

Well, I dunno. As of 06 Vili Fualaau was an unemployed high school drop out and doing time for drunk driving. Mary Kay was an unemployed sex offender and I have no idea what she's doing now. They met when Vili was 7, so who knows what ideas she put in his head.

But honestly, the real victims here are their kids. There is no way that this is a happy tv sitcom marriage.

edit: Apparently he's a DJ now. Living the dream, I guess. The question that keeps playing in my mind is, "Is this the life he wanted or is this the life she forced him into?"

Dude, even at 9 I was into women. Hell, I watched my first porno when I was 7. I'm not kidding either.

But like I said, it doesn't make what these women are doing right. It's just easier for me to turn my head in the opposite direction when it happens.

I honestly don't know much about them or their marriage right now. But "still together," without context, doesn't mean shit. For example, many people remain in abusive or unfulfilling relationships for years, or even their entire lives. Sometimes the best thing to do is call it quits and move on.

I'm worried about the kids because I see a lot of danger signs. Other than the publicity they may receive from their notoriety they don't have a lot of prospects. Vili sounds like he's already moving towards alcoholism. Then there's the fact that this lady is already known to prey on children. No one is going to want to send their kids over to play at their house, if they're not already ostracized from the community.

Call me a cynic but I don't see this having a fairy tale ending.

Well so far so good. Let's just hope for the best.

Although the concern of the children not being able to play with other children may be a genuine one. Honestly, I don't think I'd send my kids to their house either. :lol
