Holy moly, dungeon depth 4 (Ailing Loran) is already kicking my ass badly. And then you are supposed to play through another depth 4 dungeon with
half of your HP
? That's insane.

Is the elevator in
yahar'gul/unseen village
supposed to stop working after killing
the one reborn
? The platform is at the top but when I stand on the switch nothing happens and trying to pull the lever at the bottom I get "device not currently operable".
Once I got past the
three hunters
after killing
rom
and to the bottom part of the elevator it worked finr.

The "rewards" for doing chalice dungeons are pretty shitty. Jesus Christ.

Dunno, there are a couple of very nice armour sets in there and 2 alternate versions of each of the weapons plus a type completely unique to the zone.

Personally I like the return of all the traps and hidden stuff from Sen's Fortress, as well as the expanded range of enemies and bosses to keep you on your toes.

There is a ton of unique stuff in the Chalice Dungeons, and its really only the last few areas that are extremely difficult (compared to the rest of the game).

Question about the "true ending" process

I got one cord from the abandoned workshop, just got a second from Iosefka. Arianne is still in the Ward though, in pain, but she hasn't left yet. What triggers her to leave?

I know I should be set to get all 3, but I wanna see ALL the weird shit

FINALLY!

Though I know the worst is yet to come...

Congrats!! I'm still working my way through hintertomb chalices.

Okay, little help here? I can easily dodge Vicar Amelia's attacks, but how the hell do I attack her when her window between one attack and another is so goddamned short? I'm finding it really fucking hard to even hit her once and then manage a dodge of her next attack.

Supposedly
after killing Micolash in Mensis, but I'm not certain. I randomly went there after progressing some through the Nightmare of Mensis and she was already down in the basement of the cathedral with the baby.

What the hell?

I just discovered a blood echoes "bug", in
Iosefka
's clinic, there is a part in the wooden floor that's somewhat broken in the room where you fight the first werewolf, it's in the first half of the room. Every time I walk over it I gain 2k echoes,I tried doing it for a new character but it doesn't work, I also tried it with my other NG+ character but it doesn't work either.

Has anybody encountered that "bug" yet?

Help me out here, is there a 100% consistent way of dodging Rom's god damn meteors?

Focus on Rom and you can get the timing down. He does like a belly flop so if you roll about 1 or 2 seconds after that you will evade every time. For awhile I was rolling way too wildly and would get hit a lot.

Loooool. I gave up after depth 2 because I have to farm more ritual bloods.......... Don't want to do that.
Eh, you can buy the low-level ritual bloods from the messenger baths.

So I just came back from a Chalice Dungeon and my Doll is dead, what's up with that? She was definitely alive when I left.
Did you per chance encounter a bunch of brainsuckers in your chalice dungeon? They must have stolen your insight.

This room in the isz chalice is outrageous
so one of those stairs either side big platform up top and little platform about half way up, well the little platform has an alien thing that shoots + two head sucker leech things, and the top platform has another alien shooty thing and two massive werewolves
fucking impossible to do anything
I hate this room so fucking much.
Especially since the reward is not worth it, IIRC.

It's a known way to gain a lot of blood echos, but it is related to what you do to some dogs and a certain trap in the forest area supposedly

what he says:

yeah it is know.
you can get the souls in a couple of areas.
got them in the clinic too once.
but didn't try if it would work again.

btw.: is bloodtinge any good?
will weapons get so strong, that they are usefull for more than just parries?

Is there any way to determine how much flinching power something has? My pistol feels like it's less effective as a parry device now that I'm in the second big area. Will upgrading it help? That seems to only improve blood damage. Is damage output all that determines whether or not it will cause an enemy to flinch?

You know this is actually the first game I've ever played where your invincibility frames don't actually last the entire dodge animation and it's driving me crazy considering dodge is your primary and only damage avoidance mechanic besides not being in the mob's range

Anyone have any advice for Vicar Amelia?

Stay away from her and wait for her to jump towards you. Dodge that then attack. Afterwards back up to bait it again.

The "rewards" for doing chalice dungeons are pretty shitty. Jesus Christ.

The final dungeons have some nice stuff.
A trick weapon only found in dungeon, high level runes and bloodgems, and a few armor sets/weapon variants

It would be nice if they were spread out more though so you could acquire some of the stuff early on.

Can someone explain me the concept of chalice and which one to start?
And on what stats/upgrades is safe to start the chalice?

Thanks.

The one to start with is the one you get from Blood-Starved Beast. If the Chalice has the word "Root" in the name, it will be randomized every time you create it. Otherwise, they are preset. The Depths number of the Chalice indicates it's difficulty.

I'm not too sure about level ranges but if you have the first Chalice, you should be able to do it at that level.

D
arkbeast
and E
brietas
from their lvl 5 Chalices down too. Now I'm really done with the game content, but I want to keep playing.

Wish the PvP worked as good as the Souls, I can't find much action going on (SL 120, should be in range with the SL 100 guys).

Maybe I'll mess with a Bloodtinge build...

The newest location I've discovered was
Nightmare frontier
How long would you guys say I have to finish the game? 10-15 more hours?

The One Reborn
was the last boss I killed btw.

In Lower Pthumeru Chalice dungeon layer 4 there's this sewer section full of rats and sticky blobs. In one of the large circular rooms linked directly in the sewer, there's this item sitting on a ledge. Does anyone know how to get this item? There's no apparent way up there.

To level 3. I need Twin Blood Stone Shards to upgrade them more, which I don't know where to find. :(

You can go to H
emwick Charnel Lane
(left from the V
icar Amelia
boss door). There should be some in Cathedral Ward as well. Those two locations should give you enough Twin Blood Stone Shards to upgrade to +5. At least, it did for me.

You have 3 more story bosses to go. Depends how good you are, maybe 8 hours or less.

beat the game. tbh I have little interest to do the chalices so I didn't and won't. Neither do I have an immediate need to do NG+. Great game but now I'm taking a break from gaming until Witcher 3.

wow , just wow

i never looked at all the items in the shop, im an idiot . i am getting rid of this shitty pistol
might buy a new man weapon too

lol 10,000 for the emblem, i know where that goes!
