At final boss, co-oppers keep getting two-shot. Level up your vitality, people! It's a bit annoying to spend insight and time waiting, only to have the helper die within 15 seconds of stepping through nightmare fog. At this rate I'll have to do this boss solo :/

How much VIT do you recommend? I've stopped investing in it since I hit 26, as it feels perfectly fine, and that was 5 bosses ago.

Is One Reborn really difficult, because I've been waiting to summon someone for a long while now?

he's extremely easy.
Learning curve is quite simple and you'll swing and cause more damage to it than it will do to you. However there's those ladies on the 2nd floor that'll throw some fire/arcane balls at you. Kinda annoying but Im sure you'll beat the boss without much hassle.

That's why you should go up to them and kill them before you focus on the boss.

so, is there a guide to eileen with 100% all posibilities and when she does what?

saw her in the sewers, saw her outside of the church.

beat cb, fg, bsb and the witches.
used coffin skip to go to the clinic and the woods.
cleard the woods and chainhurst, but didn't kill the bosses there.

now she is gone and I can't find her.
she isn't in the tomb of odeon.

Do it solo like I did. He's a bit tricky but you can cheese it with the Kirkhammer.
Just keep spamming R1 at him and dodge once your stamina goes low..not empty!! Also watch out when he swings his blade in mid-air...dodge backwards to avoid damage or some of damage.

She'll be at grand cathedral. But if you never saw her at tomb of oedon, then you won't be able to get the covenant rune.

As soon as you talked to her on the balcony outside of the cathedral ward you were supposed to go to the tomb of oedon.

In my 1st run I focused on the boss mainly...I didn't have to kill the ladies at all...but might do that on my NG+ this time around..

Can you beat every boss with 50 bloodtinge, Evelyn +10 and bone marrow ash easy, if you stay at midrange ?

tried. You can't.

You can do serious damage, or finish a boss when he gets to the last quarter of it's life and he gets mad and do crazy attacks. Many times I didn't want to risk it so I just finished them off with Evelyn and bone marrow ashes.

If you didn't help her beat
Henryk at the Tomb of Oedon then expect her to fight you at the Grand Cathedral. She's kinda tough to beat considering she's extremely swift and hits hard too.

What if you use down on the d-pad to steal life for more bullets, and have passive health regen on your melee weapons to keep it coming?

Ever since I started the Chalice dungeons, I've been taking longer breaks from the game. I finally got to the defiled dungeon. Half health, eep. I'm thinking about leaving this be for now and doing more NG+ so I can get my vit to about 50. I need to complete the game again anyhow for a trophy and the living string chalice material.

The bosses in the dungeons haven't given me much trouble though. Had a harder time with Rom in the regular game than chalice. BSB returns was pretty tense though.

honestly, you better go in, learn the pattern, git gud and slash/crush your foes. It would be faster, less boring and much more epic.

You could try giving up life for blood bullet and heal with vial. But it's a chore.

But waiting for life regen ? Hope you have all day son.

I haven't even beaten the boss there yet and people were saying
you have time till Rom before going to the tomb to help her.

I beat
Rom
on the third try at lv51. Am i a bit overleveled?
Shadows of yarnham
took me 10-12 tries though.
You're pretty good with your level. Surprised
Shadows
gave so many people trouble, I found them fairly easy as long as you
target the melee ones first
.

Though I shouldn't be talking when I was struggling horribly with K
eeper of the Old Lords
in my lower-leveled account yesterday.

What VIT do you have now? I dont think grinding a couple of more VIT levels are going to help you much, the 50% HP penalty+ the hard hitting bosses will kill you in 2 hits no matter what.

I had 41 VIT when I beat it (with an HP gem).

Ok Rd. 2 with L
ogarius
. Any tips?

  • Can interrupt all his
    Phase 1 attacks
  • Easy to parry
    scythe attacks
  • Most
    spells
can be dodged through a few dashes to the left or right. Be mindful that he'll do a hard hitting
    quick-shot spell in your face
    sometimes.
  • Backstab
    during his
    charging up move
between the phases so that he doesn't have the
buff that makes him highly resilient to parries
    .
  • Phase 2 focus on
parrying (from a bug-out distance) the scythe attacks
and get a quick hit or two as he recovers from his
    ariel attacks
    .
  • When he
plunges his sword in the ground
during Phase 2, you can target and knock it out. Might be useful to lure him away so you don't have to worry about him blindsiding you as
    you knock out the sword.

The Blades of Mercy stunlock like a motherfucker. During the Shadows boss fight once I got a hit in I could completely drain my stamina bar without taking any damage cuz they can't attack back during a combo. So I'm thinking a ton of points into endurance is great for a build like this.

Getting END to 40 is basically mandatory for almost every build that isn't low level but then you might want to also stack stamina runes beyond that.

I have about 40 as well, with a +5% health rune. The first boss has me hiding behind pillars like a coward, suddenly feels like you're starting out again.

You can get +6 health per second, at least.

In this hypothetical scenario, never level Vit. Manage your distance so you don't need health. Lower Vit means it is easier to heal back blood bullets, since they are % based I think.

Since you don't need Vit or End, you could pump Arcane for the heal. That might be interesting.

Haha yeah... I've figured out that life regen is great for putting on your alternate weapon for out in the world, but definitely not boss fights. I have yet to encounter one that would give you the time, except maybe
that witch one
which is easy anyway.

Ok I think I messed something up and was told I wouldnt be able to get a key item needed for this person anymore. Mid game Spoilers:
I found the passage back to the starting area where you take the giant ladder up to the other side of the clinic door that was behind you when you first start out. I was looking around the clinic for a bit and start hearing some lady telling me to turn back and leave or else. I didnt and she ends up charging at me and kills me. Im told that since we fought she wont give me some sort of item, does anyone know what she is supposed to give you and can I still beat the game without it and see everything?

I also have another unrelated question about the lantern in the grand cathedral I think its called,
its the bonfire in the boss room and after something happens you cant warp back to that location anymore. Well I made my way back there the long way and found some Hunter chilling in there and he whoops my ass. Did I mess anything up by doing that and should I go back to kill him?

E
brietas
down! I think I'm out of areas/bosses to explore besides
Nightmare of Mensis
- is that the last area in the game?

Is there anything in the chalice dungeons that I should do before NG+?

I'm really not enjoying NG+. Everything is much more aggressive, bosses have FAR too much health and I find myself running out of vials constantly. Farming for those things really slows down momentum.

The bosses that can't be parried are the worst on NG+. Destroyed Log+ almost immediately, but now I can't beat the Vicar so I can get the wheel :(

Kinda disappointed with the last two bosses, both were pretty easy
although I do have to say master gerhman can move for an old guy

Wow, I completed the Defiled Chalice...

Only really annoying things were the summoned red spiders and those damn goat dogs, the bosses weren't too bad. On to the Ihyll Chalice to get that Trophy!
