I was just thinking about what would piss off Stern more than anything else and I was wondering what he would do if the Nuggets just started showing Kate Farber's picture (or whatever the hell her name is) whenever Kobe had the ball?

Even though I love Kobe I support these kind of shenanigans. Then whenever Pierce came to LA they could show stabbing scenes from movies and a large machete on the screen whenever he got the ball. For Yao it would be Tianeman square. And when MJ comes back next year they could show a video of whoever his ex-wife is fucking with his money at that moment.

I know this is a little off the wall even for me, but who is with me?

the best i saw was last year a Hornets fan held up a giant poster of Eva Longoria in a Hornets jersey, and yea, he missed his free throws!

Marc Jackson: "That's the best part about him - not a quitter."

Dude, to succeed in rehab, you have to quit.

No. No they don't. If you think they know their shit, then I have to question a) your knowledge of basketball and b) your sanity.
Whatever im not gonna get in a basketball knowledge pissing contest with you, so ill just say that i disagree.

Five points please.
That is what I wanted before the game started. Down by 5 at halftime and take the lead with 4 minute left.

Phil better fucking respond with better rotations with Melo out of the game.

How do you get blocked by Luke Walton? :lol :lol :lol

Even I would quit playing basketball if that happened. Let alone an NBA player.

Melo and Chauncey are a combined 3-17 and they are up by 7?

I think the Cavs and Lakers bench should combine so they could form only a slightly terrible set of reserves.

By the way the game was going, I would of sworn we'd be down by 20 by now. Can't complain, but people really need to step it UP, not just kobe

I have no idea how the guy has been around so long. NBA HCing is such a retread gig.

Because he of active coaches he is the 4th winnest after Don Nelson #1, Jerry Sloan #2, Phil Jackson #3...

During the regular season the guy is pretty sharp.

New Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations David Kahn is spending his long holiday weekend meeting individually with team employees, listening hard to their answers and preparing for five runaway weeks that lead to the NBA draft.

Of course he'd be hard at work in his first hours as the man chosen to redirect a franchise on a very long road back after it traded Kevin Garnett away two summers ago.
Were Wolves employees so surprised to a see the guy running the show actually doing work that they had to tell the Strib?

And those teams have the best benches in the league.
Nba is kind of frontloaded /

I'd be surprised if he doesn't layoff some people. Same thing happened when Nash/Patterson took over a few years back and did the hard thing. Kahn seems to be in the same mold.

He said he's not doing personnel matters until after the draft, but there will be changes. I'm guessing Jim Stack, Rob Babcock, and a good portion of the rest of the circus are all goners.

If he cleans house, then the Timberwovles will be looking good.

Nobody likes it but things like these need to be done from time to time - especially a franchise seeking to restructure itself like the Wolves are.

D: I am, simply, a laker fan, been around for a few of the games now O_o. Just keep it low usually. Also Kermit.gif

Kobe Bryant is a god.... I thought this motherfucker was tired?!

And for the love of Christ our bench needs to do something productive for 3 minutes, JUST THREE FUCKING MINUTES. They gave is absolutely nothing but a huge deficit to overcome. If Anthony wasn't hurt we'd be down maybe 20 right now.

And Sasha Vujacic.... I'm not even going to say anything.... I mean what else is there left to fucking say at this point?

Pau is giving Kobe some help for a change, thank god. Now we need the bench to come through so we can take this shit. I'm extremely confident in a win right now, but it's going to take something from our bench to get it done.

I'm going to be pissed if we don't win tonight. I hate it when Kobe has epic games for nothing.

Careful now, reilo, don't want to be taken out behind the shed for such a terrible joke that can shatter the dreams of a million children.

Shaddup about the bench, Just look at Odom and Ariza's production. None. Odom keeps talking about how he has to step up and all he has done is disappear.

It starts with McHale, who he apparently will get rid of. His hiring has been really encouraging. I hated the idea, but he's said all the right things and reached out to the fans.

He said he'd been contacted way back in December and got excited about the idea because he thinks he can turn the Wolves into a winner right away given the pieces (Al as cornerstone, making something of all our expiring and draft picks) in place. I certainly hope so.

Thanks Mitch?
I warned all of you. The first rule of being a GM is that you never reward a fuckup for playing well in his contract year. You better fucking show day one if you want to get paid by anyone.

You can't count on Odom. At times when he goes to the basket hard he looks like the poor man's Lebron James and I wonder if anyone could stop that but then at other times he just disappears and then doesn't have his head in the game on the defensive end and I wish we had Oakley's corpse at those moments.

Having not seen many Wolves games I think they could use a combo of any of these 3 starting players (depending on the coach they hire...) PG/SF/C

If Kevin Love would be happy in a 6th man role that could be real good for them. But I still say they need a PG badly.l.
