Its a name that sounds surprisingly similar to his father and has alternative meaning involving someone close to his family. I'd say its pretty good.

I still can't believe people didn't see Naruto x Hinata coming from 20 miles away. From the freaking chonin exam Naruto was getting bent over Hinata getting beat up, and he couldn't care less about sakura.
He even told her to piss off when she "confessed" (for those who stopped following the story, it was a lie,she did it to try and stop him from fighting Sasuke)

For the record, Itachi's story was my personal favorite part of the manga. His farewell scene in the war arc (and the way he undid the zombie no jutsu) redeemed that entire story arc for me.

Eh I don't get that he calls it 'good' romance, it's just a jab at the nuclear meltdowns people had over the final chapter's pairings. And if pages of manga interaction were the hallmark of good romance then every harem manga ever is the best romance ever written.

His name is actually bolt and is a reference to neji (screw) it just happens to cleverly look and sound like naruto in japanese.
It's not even the name I mean, it's the character itself.

everyone called who Tobi was the first panel he appeared, people acted suprised at the reveal not because they didn't think it was him but because no one believed Kishi would actually go for something that painfully obvious and shallow.
I disagree, Itachi's whole past and how its used and executed in the manga is awful.
He turns from being a sociopath that tortures people and then Kishi is like no wait he was actually a good guy this entire time.

I honestly hate that hes their sensei. No other parent in the manga was shown to be aloud to teach their own child.
Instead of getting a new team dynamic, we get yet more Sasuke. You know, they guy who turned traitor and sided with all the villages enemies, and even tried to assassinate the leaders of the five nations? Twice?
I much would have preferred Konohamaru, or heck, even Choiji as sensei.

I'm not expecting anything good to come out of this. It also doesn't help that I find the name Boruto to be eerily close to Aborto in Portuguese (which means abortion). Terrible name. Why not simply romanize it as Bolt, which makes much more sense?

Naruto actually does have great world building, over the course of both series it fleshes out an entire continent and the story goes back generations upon generations and spans dozens of families and villages with unique customs and backstories.
And as far as power creep, the ending of the series may have reached that point but it went back down once the fight was over and it's taken over 600 anime episodes to get there. Frieza destroyed a planet in episode 97 of DBZ and then Goku was permanently stuck at even-stronger-than-that.
