I fully expect this to be a complete disaster judging from the fact it is hosted by a GPU manufacturer (seriously, did either Nvidia or AMD ever produce a press conference that was not pure shit?). Still, I hope I am wrong and this turns out to be worthwhile (or at least the kind of disaster that is fascinating to watch).

This is amazing.

What a few years its been for the PC as a platform.

Looking forward to this one more than the others.

Might be a good time to show off PC versions of their games. I remember E3 2013 where the majority of the big announcements were multiplatform games that were releasing on PC, and were demoed using the PC versions, yet audiences had no idea because nothing was mentioned about that version until hours later when the press releases were being sent out. Now at least there's a platform to confirm all those "first to console" games that are usually littered throughout Microsoft and Sony's conferences are indeed coming to PC.
I imagine touting PC-exclusive features will be a primary highlight, but is that really a three hour show? More footage of games that will have been shown somewhere else previously? It's inevitable that this will see lower viewership than the console shows. Would any publisher who could make an announcement elsewhere do it here?

The Square Enix portion could potentially be very interesting.

Please understand portion for the state of FFXIII
Sleeping Dogs F2P
Deus Ex Nixxes port
Lightning Returns
FFXIV
FFXV announcement

I wonder if Dean will show his new game there.

Can't say anything (NDAs etc) but it's very interesting and crazy, would be nice if he told people a bit about it.

I imagine he is just doing a talk or something with Bohemia though :(

This is so awesome! Hope they announce some great games! (Blizzard, I'm looking at you and Overwatch. Hope you guys have a release date - at least for the beta).
Also hope we get more info about the future of Killing Floor 2 - which is already great.

nvidia had one good conference (the one where they didn't have the jen hsung guy host it)
I can't find the link right now sadly:( but I remember it being very informative and interesting to watch.

Why would people expect or want Valve to be there? They'd have nothing to contribute other than a new Steam feature... maybe.

I don't think that would be a good idea currently. You know, after the whole mod fiasco.

They have a good client but I can't imagine what they'd have to offer otherwise.

Gamers have short memories. Announce Source 2 and L4D3 and they'll be ready to lap up beads of Gaben's sweat again.

Yeah, one of the biggest pioneers of esports, makers of one of the most iconic FPS franchises ever made, currently running one of the biggest games in the world alongside several other great titles.

Who would want to hear from them, right?

This E3 is going to be a beast. So many stage shows this year. The only thing missing is Konami doing an anniversary hilarity presser before announcing their departure from the industry.
