Neither will win because Avengers: Infinity Wars.
Also Captain American wouldn't stand a chance against the Hulk. Iron Man at least stood toe-to-toe with him.

Therefor #IronMan

I'm siding with Hulk, Who has Hulk

Hulk is strongest there is.

Where the hell is he holding a shotgun?

I'm seeing a lot of people assuming Cap comes out on top here. I thought the prevailing theory was that he dies or steps down as a result of Civil War, and Bucky becomes the new Cap, since we know Sebastian Stan is signed up for a ton more movies and Chris Evans isn't.

I thought he would die eventually, but there's no way Marvel lets one of their most popular heroes kill another one. If Cap dies it won't be at Stark's hands.

If AOU was supposed to make me buy Tony going all "government cheerleader," then it failed completely in that. So nope, still not excited for this. And the fact that they're making it a Captain America movie makes me even less so. Jee, I wonder who they're going paint as being in the right, not.

why are they fighting? how can cap even beat iron man? I don't get it.

jk

Is that a new suit on Cap?

I hope the bring some of Winter Soldier costume into the new design. The AoU one was a side step for me.

New costumes with every movie means more new action figures/merchandise to sell for every movie. Heck, a lot of these characters have been having one or two costume changes per film, that's $$$ lying on the table right there.

So if the premise of a movie isn't set up entirely in another movie first, then you won't watch that movie? You're basically saying if Iron Man doesn't start out Civil War supporting one side, then the movie can't work?

I hope they pull an Iron-Man 3 and these two fighting is really just a show for charity and the Civil War is they actually go back in time to America's Civil War and try to save Lincoln but fail and then they get stuck in space. BAM. Cue Infinity War.

I mean, lets be real about this here (and this is spoiler free, don't worry): Pretty much all of Age of Ultron is a direct result of the fact that the Avengers get to do whatever they want and no-one says to Tony "hey don't do that dumbass".

Like, if Tony's position in Civil War is "I feel guilty because of all of the destruction Ultron caused and maybe we should actually be accountable to someone" that's both a great character arc and also he's completely fucking right. Like, no-one watched the watchmen. Not effectively anyway.

#TeamCapt

Though I probably would prefer the line-up over at #TeamStark if (AoU spoilers)
the line-up at the end of that movie was an indication on who'll be on #TeamCapt

Couldn't IM just blast Cap's head off? IM just needs to fly out of range and destroy Cap. Why are these guys fighting?

That about covers it.

Hulk was (Ultron spoilers)
just beaten by Iron Man.

If Iron Man can beat Hulk, and Caps can beat Iron Man, it follows Caps can beat Hulk

The transitivity of ass kicking.

Iron Man + Veronica didn't really beat hulk they just waited out his mind control. Given a proper fight without civilians hulk would destroy Iron man. The more he fights the angrier he gets and the angrier he gets the stronger he gets.

The premise of this movie sounds way more promising than Ultron due to how straight-forward it is. I hope they keep it simple and hard-hitting.

I find the idea of Civil War kinda stupid in the MCU kinda stupid because outside of Daredevil and maybe Spider-man if he is out by then, who else has a secret identity?

+1

Captain America can go fuck himself.

Ironically, Winter Soldier is the best movie in the MCU lol

Yeah Tony Stark over boring Captain America any day. I also feel Winter Soldier is the best movie in the MCU :) . Just cant get over the snooze fest that is Cap.

The plot will be contrived as usual and at the end of the movie as a reward the audience will once again get to see Thanos with his shitty grin. Want to find out more? Watch the next chapter in the MCU!

It'll be different from the comics storyline. As you said there are no real secret identities until Spidey enters the picture.

Why do you still trust MCU Tony Stark? Befoe he was just billionaire playboy philantropist, but the arrogant bastard birthed Ultron.

#TeamCap to the death.

Iron Man only won because Scarlet Witch's mind control wore off and Hulk started to become worried about civilians, and then Iron Man sucker punched him
