A 650 is below minimum spec for Batman, so yes, it would be worth it.

That's a huge fucking jump in performance. From sub-ps4 to more than double PS4. Whether you need to upgrade depends on what you need to play and when. A 980 is pricey, not the best bang to buck ratio

AMD have their 300 series coming later this year. Nvidia have the 980ti coming. Nvidia's Pascal isn't coming until 2016.

Some rumors say that AMD will mostly rebrand their current cards for the 300 line though. It might only be the 390x that is going to be new.
