in talks with my family about selling PS4 to buy a Wii U + Splatoon and Xenoblade
Don't do it... If anything, the Wii U is a good secondary console for the PS4.

I wouldn't do that! Keep the PS4 you will regreat selling it. Get a refurbished Wii U from Nintendo!

Good lord online is a disaster. Matchmaking with friends in an update in August?
So it just occurred to me: do you have to use the gyro controls to aim, or will you also be able to just use the sticks?
I've heard that the game controls very well from people who have played it at events, but this direct is the first time I've heard that the gyro controls would be used for aiming.

Global, though. Early as fuck here in the U.S., but not other countries.

Man, I feel for the people that try to use inferior stick aiming.
Don't be. They're going to kick your ass.
Pro controller support for local multiplayer, but outside of that it sounds like it's Gamepad only.
In what world does this make any sense?
You cant superjump without the gamepad.
In what world does this make any sense?
I sincerely doubt that. Using the stick for broad movement and the gyro for fine adjustment will likely be the king maker.
You can't super jump in local 1v1How do they use the pro in local then if you can't 👀
In the world where you need the Gamepad screen for an essential multi player function. In what world does this make any sense?

Just caught up on the Direct. Everything looks awesome and all, but you can't just team up with friends and stay in the same team? That's really lame. Shuffling the teams is great as an option, but you should be able to stick in the same party if you want.

You were playing with both gyro and sticks at the same time right? The only reviewer that i remember to really pan the gyro didn't realize you are supposed to use them in conjunction. How long did you play it for?Nah. After playing the game at Pax East it confirmed my suspicions that the gyro controls are pretty fucking awkward. Sticks are the way to go, game feels great with them alone.
Honestly thought this game would cost $40 like Kirby. $50 is tolerable but $70 Canadian is an easy pass especially since there seems to be a lot of content missing day 1. Not even the demo could sway me at that price. More than any game bought so far on Wii U by a large margin with the exception of Smash bundle.

The developers believe there is too much value in seeing the game map in real time.

You can...from August!
Hmm can you use the gamepad together with the pro controller then? Like you control your character with pro controller, but other stuffs that require touch screen (super jump for example), you can use the gamepad
Uch. It's never simple with Nintendo, is it.
So wait, no party system until August? Guess I won't be buying the game until then, if I even get it at all. Nintendo's half-assed online efforts are getting old.
Have you tried Craigslist? Open a credit card, I don't know! Just don't sell any of your organs please!Wait... wont sell PS4
Forgot... Star ocean
-_- knew I was forgetting a game. Maybe around my Birthday next month I can scrap up some money

Damn, was thinking about selling one of my kidneysHave you tried Craigslist? Open a credit card, I don't know! Just don't sell any of your organs please!
I wouldn't sell it, you know you'll want it back as a main. Check out the BST forum here I've seen nice deals there, also Craigslist or slickdeals. Cheaper getting into it than back into a ps4 later.
Sounds like time to sell some junk.![]()
Again, you can join a party with your friends and play in the same match, but you do not get to pick which team your on until august.
How big is your family?
If you have some little ones it wouldn't be a bad ideal.
Nintendoland
Affordable space adventures,
MK8
Smash
etc.

I have a PS4 and XB1. Family agreed to me off loading the XB1 to get Wii U with Smash, Splatoon, and Mario Kart.
Now if someone from B/S/T thread would bite.
Which is unacceptable in my opinion. Games released a decade ago were somehow able to do what Nintendo can't do today.
I should have done that but the Bloodborne hype has worn off so I don't feel the need to play it now.Interesting I did the exact opposite. I beat Bloodborne(new game+) and offloaded my ps4. Now I'm down to just my xb1, wii u and pc.
Seems pretty simple to me.Uch. It's never simple with Nintendo, is it.
