Gamers, gamers never change. In 2015 Fallout 4 was revealed. A game people had been asking for for years. As soon as it was revealed, hyperbolic cries of, "It looks no better than PS3 were heard." Then ensued a war the likes the internet has not seen. In the end, most people ended up off the internet entirely. It was a wasteland. But a few people held on and years of desolation one finally popped out to see what the internet had become...
Seriously though, I don't care if the graphics aren't that great. They still look better than 3. All I really want out of Fallout is a new area to explore and new characters to discover/takl to with new dialogue choices to be made. Sure, maybe I'm not picky. But I picked up Fallout 3 in 2013 when it looked pretty dated and after I played SKyrim which definitely was an improvement (not by much though honestly, or at least Fallout didn't look much worse like I expected it to). It didn't hamper my enjoyment one bit. I didn't think it would beat Skyrim for me but I found myself enjoying it a lot more even Despite the even older graphics and more bugs (I played Skyrim after they had patched it up).
Sure, I'd love it if they take cues from Obsidian and improve on gameplay/characterization/dialogue/choices. Honestly I'd much more rather they focus on that. But in the end, I'm sure it's going to be a game I'm going to love. Cause all I really need is that exploration and being able to talk to characters (Obsidian had more characters to talk to as well which made Vegas better for me). Graphics is only something I'll notice at the start. Then my suspension of disbelief will kick in and I'll just take it for granted anyways (regardless if good or bad).
(I'm sure I'd love it more though if Obsidian was the one doing it

).
