Dark Souls III leaked info and screenshots [RUMOR - Better Details Write-Up]

Even though it does look like it. The lack of guns and the fact that atleast two of the pics have shields suggests it isnt

Shields and a bow in one of the screens (in the video) as well as a bonfire... i doubt it.

indeed. Its why I think its DS3 but all my friends are saying " looks exactly like BB. Therefore it must be the DLC. Can't be DS3 "

but two swords, shield and no guns.... nope. Can't be bloodborne

Um, compared to what?

grab the concept arts in the end, those are either real or sourced (looks too good to be a shop), if sourced might even show up in google.

HOLYFUCK

IT looks amazing.

This seriously made hair stand.

The FROMSOFT renaissance we're currently experiencing is the best thing since Square Soft's PSX Golden Age.if you want to ask me,its the best about gaming period.

Maybe they're just using DS1 HUD like a placeholder. For a game expected to be released in 2016 you can't expect to see a fully functional HUD.

But still, it seems fake.

Why DS1 HUD placeholder instead of DS2? Miyazaki Team confirmed? Or maybe they're improving upon DS1 instead of DS2 and floaty movement is no more? :')

PC negotiable?

GTFO with that. Dark Souls has sold amazing on PC. From isn't brain dead.

Looks good otherwise.

PC negotiable = please double dip

And I will. I'm part of the problem.

Raise the sun.

(Looks more like it's standing on a pedestal than melting to me.)

The Xbox One Reborn boss fight confirmed.

Guys this is the bloodbone DLC for sure ! No way its a new game 5 months after bloodborne.

Its new weapons armor and monsters in a bloodborne setting.
They have multiple teams at From Software. One of them could've started working on DS3 a while ago.

Hard to believe. yosp said that BB was getting an expansion which would make a DS3 announcement a giant fuck you to sony. Especially considering that the art direction looks ripped right from BB.

Well, that didnt stop Bloodborne from being announced when DS2 expansions were still on the way.

More souls??

Yeah, I'm with it!

Looks legit, but kinda disappointing if it is...This is a nice E3 announcement. Starting to agree with Jaffe on the Leaking stuff.

This is an amazing shot, looks like the sun is melting. Just so much 'stuff' going on yet still difficult to work out what I'm looking at.

For me, it's the giant snake-like critter covered in sticks that weaves through the background culminating in that silhouette on the right that's cool. The dripping sun is neat, though.

Looks like there was a city, and we're looking at the parts that have collapsed towards a big crack in the middle.

I'm really starting to ponder this maybe being the Bloodborne dlc.

Some of these areas look so similar architecture wise.

please be true please be true please be true...

except for that "PC version is negotiable" part. Fuck that, I want mah PC version.

I'm.... so baffled right now. I can't tell if it's obvious fakery or legit.

Arguments for:
1) Many of those screens look legit.
2) There are many screens and assets being posted, that'd take a lot of effort to fake.
3) This can't be Bloodborne DLC despite some resemblences because you clearly see shields, magic, knight armours, etc.

Arguments against:
4) PC release being only "negotiable" has to be utter BS. PC was the lead platform for Dark Souls II, and both From and Namco know the game sold extremely well on PC.
5) The HUD is ripped straight from Dark Souls 1. Why? If it were a placeholder it'd be from Dark Souls 2 or maybe even Bloodborne, no?
6) The HUD also makes no sense. The asset for Sunlight Blade, a spell, is now an item that can have 99 of it?
7) Some of those assets are straight, and I do mean straight from Bloodborne. Statues, architecture, clothing and equipment, etc. This looks more like Bloodborne DLC at times. But, consider point #3 above...

So, to summarize:
- Some of these screens/concept artworks/assets look a lot like Bloodborne far more than anything from Dark Souls, suggesting Bloodborne DLC (especially gothic spires, statues, some articles of clothing and weapons that look like several of the BB trick weapons).
- Some of the screens/concept artworks/assets look very credibly Dark Souls, more than Bloodborne (especially shields, heavy armours, magic, castles -- yes I know BB has a castle area too), suggesting it's indeed Dark Souls 3.
- No PC version being confirmed is a red flag that throws the whole thing into question.
- The weird use of Dark Souls 1 HUD elements suggest forgery.

So yes... I'm very confused.

That was true of the Dark Souls days, but they learned their lesson, and the PC version of Dark Souls 2 wasn't a half-assed port coming out a year later.
I can't believe the same company would release two games with statues of kneeling people in it. DLC confirmed!

Will buy it on sale if it comes to PC, that "negotiable" line is pure bullshit though.

After DaS2 I said I'd never pay full price for a Souls game again unless they got some good will back from me so hopefully this will be the one to do it.

It's alledgedly a 2016 game, what's soon about that?

Bloodborne came out this year, they're extremely similar games. Dark Souls 2 the year before. I don't want these kinds of games becoming annualized because I find that to ruin series for me. These games need more development time as it is.

I think it could still be 2017, though.

Dark Souls II came out a year ago, the current-gen version 2 MONTHS ago, Bloodborne 3 months ago and there's DLC on the way.

Just how big is From Software?

From memory they have two team:

1st Team: Bloodborne
2nd Team: Dark Souls II

It seems very legit that the 2nd Team has been working on DSIII.

Wow that looks amazing, a big departure from the usual DS area just by color alone, can't wait to see how/if this is implemented in game.

Also thanks for the lower third and watermark The Know, great work.

I think PC people don't know how bloodborne looks like, but it does share aesthetic choices. We got knights and shit.

This looks insane. It appears as though a large earthquake has straight up ripped through an ancient city and then the sun is melting into black stuff, possibly even the source for the very large creature on the right side. And actually, those arches in the background with how they sorta resemble this figure on the right, maybe it's some giant snake thing stretched across the land. Sorta has a cobra look to it's head area.

I don't believe those guys got anything exclusive.

Did they say where they got that information from?

The Know are apart of Rooster Teeth, which is huge and have many friends in the industry, and are going to be hosting E3 with Youtube. If they got a leak, it's not surprising.

If the PC version get's a delay I hope they at least let us know when it will launch before the console versions are launched and it's no more than two months.

After all the effort the PC community made to get the game on PC and the great sales numbers this shit is shameful if true.

Best version getting a delayed release again, it seems. Still, really happy about this. I need it in my veins.

Darkborne? Blood Souls? Totally looks like DS characters thrown into BB environments.

Either way, nice! Just gotta get through (start, actually) DS2 first. Oh, and I'm also not done with BB yet.
