Who cares if its yearly? Souls games are fucking awesome.

Ill take 2 a year please.

If youre tired of it, you know you can like.. not play it.. right?

It will suck if the PC version is never made. I don't want to play this at 30FPS.

But I will anyway if I must.

Good catch, this confirms that the leak is real...

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis

As we know there is some truth to every rumer. Its not ds3, but yes its a from reveal at e3. The bb doc

15 bosses in the DLC? That would be sick as fuck, I don't mind that AT ALL.

No reason to say "it's Bloodborne DLC" as a way to say "don't get too excited boys", it gets me even more excited!

Though I'm not a fan of the idea of hardcore shields in Bloodborne PVP.

I thought, I'd be oversouls'd with the rumors but those screenshots made me strangely hyped.

*sigh*

oh well, here we go again: HYPE!

Yeah, no. 2-2.5 years is a good time for a sequel to be made. Even though the general opinion is to lump Demon's Souls and Bloodborne in with Dark Souls and just label it all as the "Souls series", Demon's Souls and Bloodborne have different lore and little connection to the Dark Souls series outside of very similar mechanics.

Let's not really kid, Bloodborne shares about 85-90% of souls core mechanism and tricks. The difference being dodging, transformable weapons and details like equip load.

My main worry is fatigue of a genre which partly relies on the feeling of discovery to stay fresh. I would've way prefered an AC game for example in between before a new souls just to break it up. I guess it seems a petty complaint for some but I say this because I love the series. I'd hate seeing things in them getting "standardized" just so they can manage to bring them out in time, while the lore and the world design suffers like it did in Dark souls 2 (while still a good game, it was noticeably lesser than it's predecessor).

I also hate the mentality of "WHO CARES, GIVE IT TO ME NOOOOOOW" but eh

I really dislike this "negotiable" PC version so many publishers seem to go for these days. I'll just sell the PS4 version the moment I get my hands on a PC copy. I wish I didn't have to do my first playthrough in sub 30fps blurfest like Bloodborne. I might manage a few days wait maybe, but not weeks or months without getting spoiled.

The screens look very similar to Bloodborne. It'll be interesting to see if they can conjure up something fresh out of Dark Souls considering how II already felt so tired and iterative.

Lol, this is not bloodborne. They arent going to add shields and armor from dark souls 1 into bloodborne through DLC.

A Bloodborne game is now something entirely different from a Souls game to me, since the gameplay is drastically changed.Maybe it will be like comparing Monster Hunter clones to each other at some point.

I'm with you. No fatigue whatsoever here. In fact prior to BB I was so starving for Souls that I even bought a mediocre Souls-like (Lords of the Fallen) to scratch that itch. But it just wasn't the same.

New environments to explore, new monsters to ambush you, new bosses to fight and whose patterns to learn; that's the freshness. Not the arbitrary X-year wait between games.

Have to say, I understand these are leaked screenshots, I understand they are presented in about the worst way possible, but I'm hating the art direction. Something DS/BB usually does well.

melty sun is cool

Whoa, that bleeding sun screenshot looks dope as hell. Looking forward for E3.

Regarding this being Bloodborne, haven't played it but aside from the shields and stuff, the characters have stretched proportions (long arms and legs), while these armored characters don't look all that slim and stretched to me.

Yeah I was so hungry I decided to check out From's King's Field II. I played the whole entire game! It was actually really interesting to spot the similarities

What do you think all this spiny black stuff growing everywhere is?

Giant slug monster, tree thing on the right

Growing all over that building there

It's all over the place in this shot

Growing on that tower in the background
Lesser Amygdalas, v2. Bring it on!

It does all seem to be in the same location, but it sure looks weird.

The darkness manifested into palpable form or something.

As good as BB was, I'd like a return to the "builds" of DS. I thought it would be there in BB with the bloodgem system, but it wasn't. Which is fine. Still a great game. Just lacking where DS shines.

Also this shot is where I get the BB "influence". . .blood raining from the sky, a triumphant pose after dispatching a foe?

beast mode boss?

look at the legs and the spear

Same boss. "Alternate" form (if you believe the leak) as a new boss mechanic.

So BB/DS had a baby huh?

Looks good and likely real compared to their tales from my ass rumour about slient hills.

PC release is "negotiable."
- I read this as PC version is probably not day one but is coming.

Since this is DS3, it'll surely be handled by the C Team. You guys wish the B Team was back.
Kappa

Seiously, this looks really good. More Souls is always nice. And I've yet to play BB and the DS2 DLCs. Hype!
I think the HUD looks like it does because the game is still in development for quite some time.

Square literally released a mainline FF game every from 97-2002 except for 98.

Didn't hear many "milking" complaints back then.

Oh sheeeit. I hope this is real, as much as I loved Bloodborne it just didn't grab me as much as Demon's and Dark Souls.
