Dark Souls III leaked info and screenshots [RUMOR - Better Details Write-Up]

Im very interested in what the team break down is then for each of these projects. Is this a mainly DS2+some BB team directed by the gawd miyazaki?

I kinda want to know the breakdown. In terms of DS sequels it makes sense to come out 3 years after the other in terms of teams doing work. Namco is smart to basically ride this current "wave" of newcomers still hungry for this style. I knew they weren't going to wait too long after BB to make a move

Those screenshots look legit as fuck and I'm definitely on board for this, but the sword being held at a slight upward angle is nagging me a bit.

It was a really nice touch with DSII and Bloodborne for the swords to be hanging slightly when equipped, looks much more aesthetically pleasing than in Dark Souls I.

Wow... that would make it THE platform for Souls.

http://steamspy.com/app/236430 here I googled it so it doesn't just end up being wrong haha

I wonder if it's gonna be all of the best ideas from Demons, Dark 1 2 and Bloodborne all rolled into one masterpiece

It seems like it.

Demon's Souls: A better version of World tendency (?), art direction.
Dark Souls: NPCs, world design.
Dark Souls 2: Variety.
Bloodborne: Gameplay, lore depth,
Blood moon-like event

Please Miyazaki, I'll love you forever if you do this.

if these guys got the dark souls 3 leak correct, then maybe there's an inkling of truth to MS and silent hills. maybe not the particulars like "billions of dollars," but it doesn't seem farfetched that MS would try to acquire the IP.

on topic, though, totally hyped for this.

Man. If this is real, I wonder what that's going to leave for E3. If this isn't real, it's the most convincing, disappointing fake I'll have ever seen. For the sake of my sanity, I need to believe this is happening.

As much as I like Bloodborne, I never get tired of From's take on Western fantasy. I get completely lost in those worlds. It's helped me through many a tough time; it's been my therapy.

wondering which conference is it suppose to debut at. Probably a nice surprise ruined for a company

So if this is apocalyptic in theme could it be set after someone chooses not to kindle the fire? We've been given the choice now in both games to leave and not kindle/continue the cycle (though it was patched in in DS2 and DS2 ignored the "dark lord" ending). Would be cool if this really was Miyazaki's Dark Souls swan song that it'd be the end of the undead curse for good.

I'd be pretty livid if the PC version is even a month after

If Bamco had any respect for the PC player base it'd release day and date with the console versions. But Bamco like their money so will tier the release so that the consoles get a month or 2 (or more) of time so that more people buy that instead of waiting for the PC version.

Then they will release DS3: worse enemy placement edition separately on PC and charge full price rather than just a slight fee to upgrade.

I don't think it has anything to do with Bamco, they're only the publisher outside of Japan (assuming Dark Souls 3 is even published by Bamco & not Kadokawa).

Yes and that we see it in both "light" and "dark" stages of the possible "eclipse"

I'm still trying to figure out where the forest/tower shot fits in, but otherwise It's mentally mapped out.

I'm also thinking the "raining blood" is possibly from destroying the "abyss roots".

*air quotes for made up names.

I can't go back to the blocky PS360-style graphics in DS series anymore either.

The intricate aesthetics of Bloodborne has spoiled me.
