partly why i made the decision to drive 2 hours to the nearest theatre showing was exactly so i can see the TLG reveal on the big screen with hundreds of other hyped enthusiasts ;__;

After all this hype/rumors and Sony staying quiet, no TLG is going to sting more than previous years. But I believe it will show up and when it does the reactions from everyone around me in the theater is going to be glorious.
 
I honestly don't know what would be better, if it's finally revealed or if it isn't. I really want the game to come out, but at the same time I want to see the reactions if it doesn't show up, because there's so much hope this year.

Y'all hoped too hard, the crash is gonna be brutal.

Honest question - do 16,000 people still care about TLG? Right now?

Of every person on Earth, are there 16,000 individuals who still remember this game, are anticipating its' releasing, and would go crazy at a re-reveal?

Perhaps there are now after the Guardian call out, but had that not occurred? I genuinely don't know.

Maybe I'm just blind to the scale of all this.

It is big enough that when IGN had breaking news that it had been "cancelled" it was trending on Twitter.
 
Hope springs eternal for me that we'll finally see this game again, but i'm cautiously guarded this year. I remember everyone getting excited on GAF in the runup to E3 2014, and we were rewarded for our hype with ... nothing.

Maybe this is a pointless distinction, but I wonder how much of that hype is now for the myth of the game - and how much is for the game itself.

Like when Duke Nukem Forever finally got released. Nobody cared about Duke Nukem, but everybody cared about the myth of the game.

But perhaps at this point, it doesn't matter. The game is secondary to the larger story of its' development and status.

To be fair, it wasn't Duke Nukem without 3D Realms at the helm.

If TLG doesn't hold true to Ueda's vision, it will probably fail.

it was top trending worldwide on twitter when IGN falsely reported it was cancelled last year. its a huge deal.
 
I lose nothing by believing that TLG will come around eventually, it's a lot of fun hyping up an event hoping to see it and it's even fun, as hard as it may be to believe, when it doesn't show and everything shifts to the next show.
It'll come eventually, and if it doesn't then okay, there'll be other games and I'll be there to play them.
 
The Last Guardian began development in 2007. I was in fourth grade at the time. When it was announced I was just exiting sixth grade. I just now graduated from high school about a month ago. It's taken around half of my public school life for this game to come out if it's shown and released this year. Come on Sony! I've been wanting this game since its announcement. It's now or never at this point.

I was in 8th grade at the time, now I'm on my third year of college.
 
I have no idea how to smoothly do GIF's, I'm such a failure. I can't even get the mask to slowly pan with the camera. It was my first ever legit GIF. Maybe someone can offer tips, I was manually moving the mask every single frame....probably not what your supposed to do.

BUT it does add to the tension of the griffon and how much we want this game hahahaha. I find it hilarious.
