I don't know, they need to find a way to get Cr. MK into Ryu's moveset though. it's his best move.
How on Earth is Ryu the boring one here?
It's incredible we have Ryu in Smash Bros yet we are not going to have Street Fighter V on Wii U or any other Capcom upcoming games... When Nintendo teases about unprecedent 3rd party partnership in 2015, they refer to adding 3rd party characters on their games and not bringing actual 3rd party games to their consoles hah.

Now that Ryu is in Smash, the series will be accepted by the FGC.

His character model pretty much is Eliwood with a headband and Roy's sword. Maybe Eliwoods clothes will even be an alt. I like Roy better, though.
Hector would be awesome, but I don't think they want anymore blue haired characters. It's Intelligent Systems fault for giving so many characters blue hair.

Ah. I remember the days when people took this quote to discount the chances of someone like Ryu appearing on the roster. Feels kinda good to see him here despite that.
Roy also starts with a rapier and only later gets the Sword of Seals.
I'd rather they put in Ephraim or Hector. But obviously I'll accept Roy and go back to maining him.

Ryu, while it super sick he's in the game, is still one of the most boring characters in his game, but in fighting games in general. Homie is fightman.

That would be nice, yes. Personally my price range tops off at about maybe £2 if they really must insist it to be a premium for the veterans and £2.50 for newcomers. Of course, I mean a code for both versions for that price. None of this £4.50 (~$7) nonsense for a veteran.

That's true, but There's no excitement to Roy. We all know how he's gonna play. Ryu on the other hand is a Street Fighter character who is being adapted to play like a smash character. That on its own is exciting.

Still super lame of people. I love Fire Emblem more than Street Fighter but I ain't asking for more FE characters.
Its not even based on the series, there are now 5 FE characters. Roy seems like hes a Marth clone just like Lucina, albeit with fire. Whereas Ryu is a completely new character, so the logic doesn't make sense at all to me, but to each their own.
