This is pretty nice. Retail dics will work, Microsoft just has to get the approval from the game publishers so they can do this. Makes sense, you just don't see random old games pop up from the Virtual Console or PSN.

Digital download if the game is available, however if you own the game on disc already you can pop it in and download the digital version for free.

I was already considering it because of Rock Band and all the DLC tied to my Live account, but if I can get rid of my 360 and play most of my catalog, that's pretty much a no brainier.

I don't have an Xbox ONE, but this is fantastic news! My 360 died on me many moons ago, and I never replaced it. I will more than likely one day get an Xbox ONE, so it's great that I'll be able to play my 360 games (which I didn't get rid of), once I do!

PS Now is no match for legit BC, it's really not even a great feature for their Playstation consoles period. PS Now is really only an incentive on TVs and mobile devices.
