If you're in the preview program eligible titles will show up under the Ready to Install section of your games. Just like any other XBO title.
If you're not in the preview program or you don't have any eligible digital titles, then they won't show up.
XBL itself has been slow all day ever since the announcement, so if you don't see anything under your game section just let it sit there for a few minutes.
If you are in the preview program and still aren't seeing anything, make sure you have the latest system update and make sure that Hexic HD is on your account as that is both free and an eligible title.
My cloud saves work and the emulation seems 100% faithful so far.
Not bad, Microsoft. Not bad at all.
No. It is emulation. MS have given press interviews about it - they explicitly call it emulation. I went for a job interview with the guys who created the PowerPC emulation.
There is no update. The games you owned digitally will show up in the 'Ready To Install' section and if you own them on disc just plop the disc into your Xbox One and it will recognize it.I still haven't gotten the update pushed to my system.
I just think it's hilarious how much people want to tell others how this isn't a game changer. Guess what? It is for me.
wait I am in a preview program. How do I do this?
Go to "MY GAMES AND APPS" and scroll to the far right in the games section. Anything you have bought digitally, and is currently on the BC list, will be listed their with a graphical 360 tag.
If you look at the list on the first page and a disc game you own is there, pop the game in. It'll download the whole game. Once it's done you're good to go.
Kameo up and running. Feels nice with the X1 controller.
They should start selling the games that are supported on the XBO store for those that don't own them.
How's the framerate?? Is it really comparable to running those games on 360???
What if I told you the Xbox One only has 512MB of cloud storage for saves, but that the saves are so small nobody has noticed? My only gripe is that it looks like cloud storage is the only storage option from within the virtual 360, is that right? That's fine by me but for now 360 cloud storage is capped at 500MB and that won't be enough. Here's hoping they make it unlimited like Xbone which would obviously benefit actual 360 consoles as well.
because of this I've gone from probably never getting an xboxone to maybe getting one cheap in few years.
