Gears Ultimate Beta Access

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE how you can party up or join friends. Sever error and bugs my ass. I never heard of that type of shit in a public beta

People are terrible in this game. I can't stand playing with god awful randoms who have an IQ of dirt and probably can't wipe their own asses. Good lord. I'm about to have a stroke.
 
played a match before work this morning since it wouldnt work last night. LOVE IT, looks great and brings back so many memories, I cant wait for the full release and will try and find time to play as much as I can this week. Love grenade tagging.

Does anyone have a link to the broadcast from last night? I forget what it was called but they were supposed to talk more about the game? E3 didnt really explain much or any of the changes we can expect.

Ever heard of a little thing call the MCC? Be thankful this is the beta and not the final product.

So to confirm can you not party up with friends at all in this beta?
 
Hardest Gears yet IMO.

So hard to secure downs with the Lancer w/o stopping power. People always seem to be able to get away. Pistol has low ammo and a mean kick. Skill gap will be huge.

Skill gap was always huge, which is why Gears 1 always took the most skill out of the series. Stopping power sounded good on paper, but was terrible in practice.

Parties are currently blocked in the beta. No idea if this will change. I would lean to not getting any hopes up.

This whole key thing is silly, can microsoft just not open it up to everyone?
 
So, I didn't realize at the time i register that I my Gold had run out, I had a 12 month card laying around (I know right?) but do you think this screwed me over getting into the Beta? So frustrating.

Gears has always seemed to have a huge skill gap.

Also, still no codes here >.>
 
Was hoping to at least have this downloaded by the time I left for work but nope still haven't received my code. This is embarrassing.
 
This is looking fucking smooth in motion, prefer this to whatever it is they call Gears 4.

I wouldn't be surprised if this won't have a similar situation as the Titanfall beta. Codes were slow at first and more and more came out as the weekend approached. Then they said EVERYBODY GOGOGO and tried to keep things running. It will open up at some point, people need to be patient. The install base is larger than when Titanfall launched and there is a lot of activity going on. Gears beta, backwards compatibility stuff, game preview, etc.It's almost 24 hrs at this point from the end of the conference.
 
So am I out of luck if I didn't get a code yet? I'm a Preview member, signed up on the GOW website, and have played all 4 Gears and still no code. Anyone have an extra I'd appreciate it much...

I was told legacy was supposed to be for something along the lines of: Played Gears 1, 2, 3, judgement. Played xbox one before April 15th and have xbox live gold in good standing. Apparently it wasn't working 100%.
 
Just got my code. Installing now and waiting for the access code.

Probably just a coincidence but I tried to re-register just to make sure and I got the code like two minutes later.

Played them all, not part of preview, Xbox live for 8 years, and I got like 4 codes sent to me before I even did anything. This has just been weird.
