UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End - E3 2015 - Sam Pursuit Gameplay [HQ now available]

Small moment that might go unnoticed by a lot: Nate and Sam arguing during the middle of the chase. That's a lot of what I come to Uncharted for and doesn't exist in a lot of games.

Younger brother won't concede to his older brother. Older brother eventually proven right. Love it.

Good lord.

Naughty Dog essentially modelling and speccing out a small country just for a car chase across it and shit to blow up amazingly.

Mind blowing. This is set piece design taking to the extreme. Absolutely amazing can't get over the seamlessness of the world.

It isn't really a new thing to the series but it kind of takes me out of it when he should have died or at least suffered severe injuries like fifteen times. It's a game so I'm not going to make too much noise about it but it's not just unrealistic but like way beyond unrealistic. I'm all for crazy antics and over the top action but this can be done without flinging the protagonist around like a ragdoll and expect me to find it even remotely believable.

Otherwise awesome stuff, looks fun and is visually outstanding.

So are we thinking they
separated and he lied to get away from her or just lying to protect her? Wouldn't surprise me if she is pregnant and he didn't want her coming along.

I'm not even sure why we're spoiling this, they told us what happen in the Game Informer cover story months ago. Sam pressures Nate to get back in the adventure/treasure hunting game, even though Nate's married/settled and that shit worries Elena. So I'm sure he just lied to her about going to Malaysia or whatever, but she's smart and figured it out.

Hopefully this is the game where the characters actually call Drake out on being like, basically a terrible person. Gotta love him and Sam casually laughing about destroying the whole damn country side then riding off into the night.

It's kind of a throwback to ridiculous action movies on purpose.

At least they intentionally design Nate to avoid fatal instances. Like, it's not too unbelievable that he survived that car crash.

No one expects that.

dat big bro little bro relationship. awww

And people wonder why we call them Naughty Gods. This was only 15 mins of the game and it's looking like a masterpiece. I've seen enough of the single player. Show me the multiplayer now.

Right, but while stuff like Indiana Jones puts him through a lot, what Nathan is put through in even just this demo would have killed or hospitalized him. I didn't buy it and despite Indy for example being put through rough situations, it's not even remotely close to his fucking ridiculous this was.

There are probably going to be yeti ghosts or something in this as well, just so you're prepared. :P

Game looks amazing. They've really bridged that gap between cinematic camera angle/moments and gameplay. UC has always done this well, but this looks really impressive.

Game also looks intense/fun to play.
