What? I am not outraged at all, let alone faux outrage. Just surprised, it seems odd given how small HDD space led to issues that required action from both console manufacturers 10 years ago...

Yep. The only real difference here is that Wii U games are much smaller in terms of GB, as others have said above, in comparison to other current-gen games, so the 32 GB is plenty for many Wii U owners.
 
I know it's dumb and I won't play anything on it but if theres a strong Wii U deal in the u.s. I'll probably swoopaloop it up

I'll be actively looking for a good external drive for the XBO since I'm at like 90% capacity and also a strong wireless headset since I have a baby incoming
 
Those deals look pretty lame, especially if they're supposed to be considered better than Black Friday.

Bring on the bundles!

Well I have a fully setup 5.1 system.....its just a matter of what to do with all the extra room of removing a 65 inch TV lol.

Now that the room is not used by a huge ass base for the TV.

Not sure what to do......get the 1080p projector or wait to see if 4k deals pop up.


Theprojector right now in the USA is already under $600 so its fricken cheap.

Whats the time table for 4k projectors to be affordable?

for the price these are going for - grab a 1080p projector and then you can upgrade in a few years. Still no real 4k content, and 1080p still looks amazing blown up to 100".

now to find a projector tower so Ican put everything right below it while having the projector on top....not a huge fan of ceiling mounting it.

I've been trying to find something good (projector tower wise) for my outdoor theater I'm working on.

The projector won't always be mounted/in place in my case though.

Ever since Beats stopped their association with Monster, they've been fine from an audio perspective. Unfortunately price is still where they fail big time. And since they're with Apple now, price will never be a place where they excel.

Don't count on it. Amazon doesn't sell Nintendo consoles in the US. They're not going to have sales for third party products. Maybe Wal-Mart's sale might have a Wii U, though.
 
I bought a 42-inch TV only a few months ago, but if I can grab a 50-inch TV for under £299, I may just bite.

Will also be keeping my eyes peeled throughout the day for other good stuff.

I went with this one this morning after seeing it on a Lightning Deal for about $500.

If the W1070 drops significantly tomorrow, I might get it instead and send the Epson back, but the reviews I saw on the Epson were good. Plus it's 3 LCD, and I don't know if I'm sensitive to the "rainbow effect" or not.

As someone who's owned a 4KTV for the past 9 months, I was more excited by the fact the latest firmware for it fixed 120Hz at 1080p. The amount of content out there right now, and with the upcoming HDR standard and whatnot, it will be a while before there is a suffieient amount of content to take advantage of the new stuff. I'd wait it out because by the time the content is there, the price will be right on the hardware.

Do you also have the wireless kit? How is 3d with it? I only know the 3d of my Samsung and it's insanely bad.
 
You need Prime specific regional membership right?
Meaning you need Amazon.it Prime to get on ITA's deals and so on for .com/.es/etc?

Hmmm, that may help me point in the right direction. I was thinking something permanently in place...that could have a secondary function outside.

However, something light that I could move in and out of the area....that's possible too. Just needs to be sturdy as I have kids and the crowd that comes over for football season can get rather.....excited.
 
I am sure as always, everything I want will get sold out before I get a chance to buy it. BF type sales are good but there are rarely enough of the products for everyone that wants one to buy one.

Same here. I want to get one for the kids and think it will be a great intro console with being able to play some of the classic games.
