Amazon Prime Day Deals

People are letting them know too, I work at one of the warehouses and they called off the mandatory overtime for the night shift and were taking people off picking stations throughout the night. Hopefully the shitty deals continue :)

I was seriously not expecting the sales in the U.S. to be this bad. Did amazon think people would go crazy because they touted it was bigger than black friday and had commercials on tv for it? What cracks me up is the daily deal for us being that lord of the rings collectors thing. That same exact blu ray was the daily deal during black friday and I think it was actually cheaper.

I hope the sales get better, and I also hope you don't get mandatory overtime!

At this point, I'm willing to give Amazon the benefit of the doubt and accept that maybe, just maybe, they're saving their better deals for when more people are awake to take advantage of them.

It will all be worth it if Amazon US has a PSTV Bundle on sale that doesn't run out in 3 minutes.

Or one at all.

Please have one.

Wasn't there a story out there that Amazon informed shipping carriers to ramp up employees because they are going to be shipping so much merch.. lol This sale could have ramifications on more than just themselves.. And then when you think about all the money spent advertising this bust of a sale coupled with the name of their flagship service on the sale.. this could have some very interesting fall out.

Just woke up and I don't see much of anything yet in the US except for Greenies. My dog will be happy. Can you do the ten dollar gift card promo multiple times?

It's amazing from my perspective how much GCU from Best Buy has rendered Amazon almost irrelevant when it comes to games (in the US). Just as an example, FF Type 0 is 32 dollars all week this week with GCU so this lightning deal just matching that is just sort of a joke.

Still hoping for a deal on the LG G4 but the current list of deals don't make it look promising. I know more get added through the day though, usually the stronger deals later on, if I'm not mistaken?

If not I'll just order it for £435, happy with that price but would like it cheaper obviously. Waited a few days now.

Huh, where was this?!

Amazon. Not part of the party deals. One model can still be ordered for the penny but its backordered so no guarantees

Best Buy is 20% cheaper and then you couple that with triple reward points and I'm not sure why anyone would go elsewhere.. It's the only place I buy games now well and Gamefly used deals especially for niche titles..

Wondering whether to jump in for the Wii u on the UK store, it's still nowhere near the price I was hoping to pay for a second/party console

Amazon.de is selling a refurbished ps4 for 259€.
Should i grab one?
Price seems to be decent

Do you want a PS4 and can you deal with it possibly having a few optical imperfections? Then yes, you won't find something better.

You can just return it if it's not what you expected.

The Acer XB270HU is the only monitor I want. Wonder if it will go on sale.

Prime Day is no Black Friday, that's for sure.

Hopefully it does. I know the internet is crazy for Amazon but they're just as bad as Walmart is. Terrible company.

It's 6:48am ET here in the US, over in the west some are 3 hours behind. The day is literally just getting started, we're almost 7 hours in.

Relax, we could still get good deals and discounts.

This sale has been a massive flop. It's a clearance sale disguised as a massive event where the entry fee is a membership to Amazon Prime that no one seems to care about.

lol the turtle beaches that are about to go on sale are already 67% off.....watch it drop $5 and it will 71% for the next massive video game "sale".

I was looking forward to a board game sale it ended up being 20% off for like 8€. What the hell? That's a deal they just sometimes they do randomly for no reason. Really a shame these "exclusive" prime deals are so poor. Anything under 30% off seems lame to me.

The only really good deal I have seen so far was K-Swiss sneakers for 65% off.

Amazon.de btw.

typical smoke and mirrors from Amazon (UK) last year their black friday deals and cyber monday deals were just as woeful...

I mean why do I bother? :(

Yeah I bought a Vita last week during Best Buy's July 4 sale, but was holding off opening it because I was hoping Amazon would have a cheaper Vita deal. That would have been an obvious choice, do a $150+game Vita bundle. I think there were similar BF deals last year.

I mean, what a deal to try to sell Prime Members a $5 MP3 album, when said album is already free on Prime Music! BTW, remember when Amazon used to have monthly $5 MP3 deals? Now it's only for "special" occasions.

But alas, I was hoping for too much. No thanks Amazon. This is akin to the mall sidewalk sales of yesteryear, where stores were just trying to purge their junk inventory to attract walk-in business.

amazon.fr is shit in terms of offers, and I'm not even talking just gaming related.

Such a huuuuuuuuuuuge dissapointment. I was holding off on buying a new TV because of this prime day.

I hope Playstation TV deals will be on Prime sale. Sony is selling at cheaper price on various site, so Sony will not miss this chance... if not... sigh..
