Recommend me a "so bad its good" B horror flick

I have always had a soft spot for Halloween 3: Season of The Witch. I love how it has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween 1 or 2, which is probably why most people hate it. Worth checking out but I am sure you have already seen it.

I know you want older films, but House Of The Dead is amazingly bad/good. I have seen it like 3 times.

Oh and if you check out The Story of Ricky be sure watch it with the english dub. It's so hilariously bad and campy, almost as if 3 guys did the entire voice cast.

Yes it has Ron Jeremy.
No it's not porn

Are you familiar with the Sometimg Weird line of DVDs? I love their exploitation flicks, and they have some kickass horror movies (Gore Gore Girls).

Dead Snow

A group of swedish teens comes face to face with a battallion of zombified Nazis.

ZOMBIE NAZIS

It's a lot of fun.

Not really a B horror movie, but I thought The Happening was so awful it was hilarious. I'm actually considering buying the blu-ray and sticking it in my comedy section.

I know that what constitutes "so bad it's good" is subjective, but it's sad for me to see many of what I feel are genuinely classic b movies being recommended as such, even in the OP :/

Anyway, I'd recommend Pieces, Hell of the Living Dead, Island of Death and Nightmare City.

Deadly Friend. A girl is killed by her abusive father, so the genius kid next door puts a magic computer chip in her brain which causes her to come back to life... and kill!

Worth it just for the awesome scene with the old lady from The Goonies. You'll know the one when you see it...

Also, The Borrower. An alien is exiled to live in human form among the primitive, violent inhabitants of Earth due to its unprogressive homicidal tendencies... and somehow gains the ability to shape-shift, but only if it has taken has the head of a victim first. Watch in amusement as the alien rips off someone's head, only to abandon it seconds later... over and over again. Hilariously bad, especially because the director thought it was a "smart" horror film. Watch for Mädchen Amick's three-second cameo!

It sounds like you want TROMA.

Troma is an American film production and distribution company founded by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz in 1974.[1] The company produces very low-budget independent movies, many of which have developed cult followings.[1]

Troma produced or acquired many early films featuring several rising talents, such as Kevin Costner (Sizzle Beach, U.S.A.), Samuel L. Jackson (Def by Temptation), Marisa Tomei (The Toxic Avenger), Vincent D'Onofrio (The First Turn-On!), James Gunn (Tromeo and Juliet), Trey Parker and Matt Stone (Cannibal! The Musical), before they were discovered. While most of these actors were discovered by other means, Stanley Kubrick actually saw D'Onofrio's performance in The First Turn-On. Kaufman has mentioned that Kubrick gave him a call to thank him.

Here are some of the titles.

* The Toxic Avenger series (1, 2, 3, 4)
* The Class of Nuke 'Em High trilogy (1, 2, 3)
* Cannibal! The Musical
* Combat Shock
* Redneck Zombies
* Tromeo and Juliet
* Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
* Surf Nazis Must Die
* Mother's Day
* Troma's War
* Mad Dog Morgan
* Blood Sucking Freaks
* Killer Condom
* Rabid Grannies
* Monster in the Closet
* The Last Horror Film
* Def by Temptation

I'm seen many on Up All Night with Rhonda Shear. It's all crap.

I'd recommend any of the Leprechaun movies, 3 and 5 being the best/cheesiest. They don't take themselves seriously and are hilarious for the most part.

Joseph D. Clark's Massacre, formerly The Bikini Party Massacre. Found it at a Hollywood video store going out of business that pretty only had the worst movies possible left on the shelves. We picked it up along with "Code Hunters" and "Raptor Island." God, this is terrible and hilarious for it. It's your standard "A group of campers head into the woods and terrible things happen." OR IS IT!

I also caught a bit of Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave on the SciFi channel at some point. It seemed pretty ridiculous. Raving zombies. Yes.

Anddd I am shocked that Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan hasn't been mentioned.

Uninvited

What made this particularly dreadful was a scene of a car driving out of control over a bridge in slow-motion. The SFX budget must have run out at that point, as they resorted to shoddy looping of the sound of pane glass breaking over and over.

its actually norwegian, but nvm... its actually a good zombie movie, funny as hell as well!

if you want so-bad-its-good gore, i can recommend "Tokyo Gore Police", allthough you need a strong stomach to sit through that movie :p

For great justice.

I've got the Troll/Troll 2 double feature DVD. You get that epically bad movie and then the original, which is just a typical 80s creature feature notable for a naked Julia Louis-Dreyfus and one of those entertainment 'coincidences' as it's about a boy discovering latent magical powers and fighting magical beings... who is named Harry Potter.

Yeah, guys, I'm not even kidding about One Eyed Monster. I watched it on-demand with some friends and we all had a great time. Men and women alike. It's ridiculous and hilarious. It's by no means good per se, but you'll get a kick out of it.

I know Netflix has it too.

King Cobra

Giant snake terrorizes town, has to be hunted down by chinese guy bitten by snakes so many times he's immune to venom.

The filmmakers discovered at the end of shooting that the film was too short for the budgeted length, so they put in a five minute montage of how beer gets made.

Yes, seriously.

Stop recommening Braindead, it's not a "so bad it's good" film at all. Braindead is so good it's awesome.

I agree though that Troma films generally fit the bill nicely even if they're a bit too much knowingly bad. My faves would be

Toxic Avenger 1 and 4
Poultrygeist: Night of the chicken Dead
Tromeo & Juliet
Terror Firmer

That's amazing. No, I'm serious.

You really can't beat demons or Demoni as its sometimes called

This. The movie is horrible. Then again I think all Dario Argento flicks suck, but this one sucked so bad it was good! Demons 2 and The Church (Demons 3), aren't as good... although one of them has a goat demon raping a girl...

Demons is actually directed by Lamberto Bava, Dario Argento is credited for screenplay. As for Demons 2, it's written and directed by Carsten Brandt. And The Church is directed by Michele Soavi, with Dario Argento again credited for screenplay.

I think the series is entertaining enough, although they might not be as enjoyable if you watch them now for the first time. As it is usually with the 80ies movies.
