It's his dad, King Regis. If you've been following development of this game at all (and actually paying attention), you'd know that something happened to Noctis in his youth that gave him the power to see the light of expiring souls. This teaser seems to be about the immediate aftermath of that moment. This is of course just my wild guess.

Oh boy, if they don't show more at the ATR, things will happen...

I hope--feel--like they will with what that teaser ended up being.
