Caladrius (shmup) hitting Xbox Games on Demand Aug. 4th

So yeah, it appears a page appeared on Xbox.com saying that the shmup would be releasing here on August 4th. There's no word on pricing yet, but this was rated about 2 months ago in Europe, so it was likely to be released here sooner or later.

For those who don't know, it was originally released in 2013 by MOSS, the same company who made Raiden IV/Overkill & KoF Sky Stage. Also they got the artist who did SMT Devil Survivor to do the character designs.

Edit: For some reason, the page was taken down a few days & the game hasn't been released yet.

Oh my! Never expected this to get brought over. Price will have to be right though.
I can't help but feel this'll be around $20. Maybe I'm just going by Shooting Love's price.

Weird that these are randomly hitting GoD. Shooting Love 200x came out a few months ago too.
I know, especially so late into the 360's life span, not to mention this is coming out almost 2 years after its release in Japan.

Earlier in the year, the devs said they'd be patching the X360 version with the new content from Blaze and beyond; I wonder if those changes will be applied to this GoD release, too.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if we'll get the PS3 version as well, considering that was the first version of Blaze that was released. Granted, took a while for the PS3 version of Raiden IV: Overkill to get released here.

Maybe they pulled it & decided to release it when the Blaze update was available?? So strange it hasn't been out yet & the page is still down...

Scrolling Shooter genre needs to lose the moe chicks and get back to focusing on phallic aliens and fetuses and shit.

The developer of Caladrius, MOSS, is best known for making the modern Raiden games, which are pretty much the only big no-bullshit, no-pandering shooting games still in production. Caladrius is a deviation from their usual style.

So, the JP Caladrius X360 update is live now; they've also lowered the JP GoD price to 2700 yen, and the PS3 version will be on sale for 3800 yen from August 10 through 31.

Looks like the GOD version is NA only, It's a shame that PAL has yet to taste a MOSS STG.

Edit just spotted the bit in the OP about Europe. Hopefully the release doesn't go tits up like RFA.

It didn't come out in NA, either. Someone at MS jumped the gun, it seems.

As a PAl Xbox 360 owner RFA lack of release here whe the demo was made available really hurts. Still disappointed about that one.

In my veins, I wonder what the odds are this could end up on XBO backwards compatibility.

First of all, apologies for the necrobump of the year, I tried to ask my question in the SHMUP thread, but it passed pretty much unseen... Hopefully, I'll be able to find an answer here!

Do you guys know if the EU Games on Demand version of Caladrius has been censored in any way? I was watching on YouTube a review for the US GoD release, and the guy quickly mentioned the ripping clothes mechanics were toned down quite a bit, as well as the amount of voice-over dialogue. Is that true? Did the same thing happen with the European game? Thanks alot in advance! ^_-
