Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Comes to PC This January

i never had the chance to play this game, is this game a dark souls like or something like that ?

It's not really like Dark Souls at all in terms of combat mechanics. It's more like Devil May Cry style action meets open world ARPG with Shadow of the Colossus climbing mechanics

its awesome

Oh my gosh. This is it. It's happening.

I've dreamt of playing this in 3D and finally that time will come, but just imagine if someone mods in Oculus Rift support?!

Someone hold me...

Oh No! I don't want to buy a gaming computer, it was already hard enough to justify getting every console but playing Dragon's Dogma on not a potato sounds like heaven.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

No more black bars and shitty FPS.

Fuck yeah! I don't even remember anymore what hyped me so much about this game but I wanted but I sure wanted it for PC, black bars killed me.

Don't think I will have the time to play this again (already platinumed on PS3).

Still considering double dipping as I got it for "free" on PS+ and I want Capcom to release more games like this on PC (and console).

I fell to my knees.

Capcom be like

ALSO, IN REGARDS TO THE FRAMERATE

There are actually a few (very rare) instances where the game will jump to 60 FPS, even on the PS3 version, leading me to believe that it will not be locked at 30 FPS on the PC.

can't wait to see why everyone felt the need to bring this game up in every witcher 3 thread.

ill be there day 1. good port please

At this point, IF Rockstar releases a HD version of Red Dead Redemption, I'll finally regret buying a Xbox 360 last year and give up planning to buy a PS4 or Xbox One. Instead, I'm going to keep investing on my PC. Anyway, Day 1 for me.

Capcom have been making some good decisions lately.

No kidding.
  • Strider reboot.
  • REmake HD.
  • RE 0 HD announced. Complete HD remaster with new modes.
  • DMC4SE and DmC DE, along with a translation of the 3142 art book releasing in a couple of weeks.
  • Street Fighter 5 looking very solid, with a promising roster and DLC plan and a focus on actually good net code.
  • RE 2 remake being announced on Facebook of all things.
  • Ace Attorney 6 announced with a Western release confirmed the same day.
  • Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for PC.
Did I miss anything?

I had given up hope. Such great news. Super surprised it is happening, even though they are doing the online game already. Plz plz have good kb+m controls. The combat system looks like it should fit it well though.

Dark Arisen simply didn't work on consoles. The letterboxing and low fps were terrible but it was such a good game otherwise. I can't wait to play this! The team who made the game deserve to have a good version of the game out.

Exactly why I always held off.

Yeah I'm probably gonna end up holding off now. I literally just bought the game very recently, but I don't feel like playing it since I know a better version exists. At the same time, I don't feel like double dipping on a game I've barely touched.

I dug my own grave here, and Capcom gets to top the soil.

YEEEEESSSSSSS!! I bought it for 360, but I couldn't play it because of how rough it looked. I probably would have gotten used to it, but my first impressions was that it was too blurry. Now I can't wait to dive into it.

I'm so happy right now lol.

I really didn't think it would ever happen.

But here we are friends, we're finally getting a PC version of Dragon's Dogma.

No more bullshit frame-rate and screen-tearing problems. Holy shit, this is gunna be so awesome!

Heh, wanted to ask because the framerate was so jumpy that I suspected this could happen, good to know.
