This is such an illogical statement, but what do you expect, his main just got announced with some solid looking tools. He's happy, doesn't understand why others are not happy with him.

We are definitely get screwed over here. It was pretty satisfying after the Mika and Karin reveals that the mostly silent SF2 fans (silent because they are catered to) started to get worried and posted "Wait, so does this mean we're not getting Guile?"
Now that I'm out of class, I can speculate.
IntelliHeath, the whole Marvel-Fox thing has impacted every other game, cartoon, & article of merchandise. It'd be foolish to get our hopes up for any X-Men or F4 characters at this point (if MvC4 happens). If anything, Capcom would have less of a say on the Marvel side if MvC4 were to happen.

Well, Capcom managed to convince Marvel to keep Sentinel and Shuma-Gorath in MVC3. I'm not saying that they would stay in the game but it's a nice thing to hope for.

I would bet that he's busy with his college right now.
To be honest, I felt bad that I have been extra tough on Neoxon but I just want him to realize that how obnoxious he is when he acted like he know everything, and politically correcting everyone with their speculations when people just want to have fun to discuss the game and share their passions.
His post style is big reason why I'm not looking forward for Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 discussion because he is going to fix everyone's rosters with FIFY (by crossing all X-Men characters and Fantastic Four characters off and explain why we wouldn't get those characters) when we already know that there are problem between Marvel and Fox. Seriously, it wouldn't hurt us to discuss about potential characters despite there are internal drama between Fox and Marvel and still clinging on the hope that Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Mangeto and Storm would come back.
Capcom: If you are reading my message. Please work on Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 and please keep Wolverine, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Storm and Magneto.

Was it a little assumptive? yeah but you figure the leak he had based his stance off of was 100% correct, Ono had in fact never teased an SF2 character and had used some misdirections, The whole location of reveals thing was playing out as expected and all we had to go off for more SF2 was a vauge statement and color boxes, both of which were validated now, but had less strength overall.
Also lets not act like he was the only one either, He was the main guy but thats only because of his activity. He was a little too matter of fact a lot but he was always polite. He even breifly switched when the first "classic" statement was dropped. So that shows that he was just speculating alongside of everyone else, it just that he had specific beliefs behind his that until now were backed by pretty solid evidence.
and again there were waay more obnoxious folks on #TeamLeaks than him, most of the time he was simply bringing up counterpoints with what he believed was strong evidence.
The people who make these threads bad are the ones who get extra salty over everything that points against their prefferred outcome ad even legit attack those who dont,. Neoxon wasn't one of those types.

On twitter, youtube, here, EH...the name Alex is everywhere. Makes me pretty confident that he's going to show up eventually in SF5.
Also, note the lack of Gief as a trending topic on twitter...unlike with Mika, Karin, and Rashid (he has a moderate trend on Facebook at the moment...#8).

I don't know I have been mainly an outsider in this thread because people complaining about every little thing they don't get or characters that do get announced was getting a bit annoying but, I think the roster is shaping up to be pretty fun in my opinion. Then again if I like the way a game plays ill find someone to like even if at first I don't find any of the characters all that cool (ie Battle Fantasia).

They said so during EVO and E3 months ago. The more you play the game the more ingame currency you'll have to spend to get characters.
Right? People have certain emotions towards Blanka, or think DeeJay and Thawk as jokes, but it's so bad with Honda that he gets left out from conversations. And he is a World Warrior character!! He has nothing going for him.
I like his theme though.
Shuma-Gorath was only kept around under the condition that he was DLC. And given Marvel's influence in recent years, Capcom would have even less influence on who would get in a potential MvC4. So until Marvel & Fox sort out their differences, the dream is dead.

SF fans have a history of shitting on fighting games and their players that they don't like/play. Including other SFs, so this comes to no surprise.

Almost nobody cared about Alex before this and now he is in demand? I would have been happy if Alex was confirmed even though Zangief is one of my favorite SF characters but I don't believe for a second that he was in demand the whole time.
Are you talking about since Gief was announced? Because it you are then you are totally and utterly wrong. Alex has been requested by a high number of people since day one. That number was raised even higher thanks to Silconera.
if it's not alex, sim over guile makes more sense to me in terms of DLC and possible story-hype to fuel that DLC sale.
i'd be very happy with guile tho
