Oh well, we'll get some SF3 characters at some point down the line, thats why DLC is a beautiful thing for this game.
Zangief's design hasn't changed much which is a little disappointing. I like his body looking super unwieldy though, his muscles are taken to a logical conclusion here. Now it looks like he can't even touch his toes, lol.

Marvel puts the F4 and certain X-Men at the firefront of their evente still in the comics. Some just aren't very popular, the MVC4 cast would end up with atleast Mags, Wolv,Doom, one F4 character and whatever three X-Men they're pushing at the time.
You have to give people some reason to buy the game. Sure isn't going to be characters like Alex.

But for real though. His trailer didn't excite me at all. I'll have to see a match with him to be interested. If not, he'll be the second character to me that's just there.
I still look forward to a possible Haggar in the future. He'll be so dope!
Edit: I also appreciate that Zangief didn't get a change like Ryu. I feel that not all characters should get a dramatic change.
