Or maybe if South Park had someone who craved attention and fame and would do anything to get it....
Randy builds a balloon to study geology. Cartman sticks Butters in the balloon to get fame.

i'm honestly glad the boy is ok.

that said, they should've sent the monkey with a sandwich and a videocamera after him.

Blitzer suffers from pussification. Stop sucking the dude's dick, he's a fraud

It's generally unprofessional to antagonize or offend an interviewee when you arranged the interview in good faith. I think he has done enough damage and certainly sowed the seeds for other media outlets to eat them alive now. The media probably isn't taking kindly to being trolled, but it'll take them a day or so before they can come up with a good counterattack. :lol

Holy shit. Father and mother look guilty of some shenanigans there.

Oh there can be no doubt.

"Why didn't you answer us."

"You told me not to, for the show."

Somebody is going to jail! :lol

According to the dad the kid won't be spanked or grounded because they don't believe in it and the mom doesn't believe in telling her kids no. They also have issues with pussifying as this cute rap video with the 3 boys show.

Why would the kid want to hide earler today after doing something bad if this is known?

The interview said "he's known to hide"

Especially when they went COMMERCIAL FREE on CNN, FOX, ect. because of the possibility of kid death.

They won't like to think they got played at all.

Catch up. The parents set up the whole scam. Told the kid to hide in the garage and not come out.

The parents aren't going to spank him, BECAUSE THE HOAX WAS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE.

Did the cops say it wasn't a publicity stunt? Are they in on it too?

Cops found out when we did. When the kid blurted it out on CNN on Live TV. And his mom made a loud shame-fart as a kind of guilty exclamation point.

Wolfie backpedals pretty nicely after the accusation.

Wolf can't even ask attention-whore Balloon Hoax Wife Swap Martian conspiracy theorists the tough questions. How is he gonna hold Cheney's feet to the fire?

stop jumping to conclusions

i've been following it... i've been thinking it was a hoax for the past 7 hours. i'm mainly saying this because the KH guy keeps denying it on this page

so i think what i'm saying is relevant. haven't seen anyone mention the spanking aspect to discredit it on this page. only the "whe did this for the show" aspect.

I'm sure the cops didn't look into it as a possibility.

I think the kid is the last nail in the hoax coffin. I mean, seriously, what are the chances of the biggest ever balloon-child chase ever, happening on network news for a whole day - to a family of attention whores, without it being a deliberate setup. Occam never thought of shit this crazy when he was sharpening his razor, but it's still the best way to slice through this problem.

Agreed. Any bets on who will take the next shot? My money says that it won't be CNN.

pretty much.

i added this to my post: "haven't seen anyone mention the spanking aspect to discredit it on this page. only the "we did this for the show" aspect."

So, watching the interviews with the family.. and this is an honest question, is the kid in question, Falcon, is he autistic? If not, he's gotta be ADD. And yeah, this kid obviously ratted the parents out on their publicity stunt.

Well played sir...well played.

This is without a doubt the best way that this could have ended up. Much better than an epic rescue.

:lol :lol

Exactly. From tragedy to farce, millions of dollars, hundreds of miles, and now people around the world will gasp as mom Shame-Farts her way into infamy.

OuterWorldVoice said:
I believe that Colorado State Law defines Shame-Farts as admissable in court as evidence of guilt.

Only if evidence can be found on the offending parties undergarments. In this case it sounds like a sure thing.

But seriously, it really is interesting to see how little is required to convince someone who wants to believe something. This sort of thing has a lot of implications. And I'm all for discussing possibilities and considering alternative motivations...but some are ready to lock them up and throw away the key.

I wish the father didn't molest/beat his Falcon. We could have had a full outburst of the true story on live tv.

Before I said 4-5 years in prison, it should be like 10-15 now.

Kozak said:
wow really? Throughout the whole thing you did not believe that a kid could be in a balloon? Whats it gotta take to make you care? If he was and died then how would you feel?

Remarks like that are stupid.
I wouldn't mind if he fell.

Is it possible the kid outing his parents was also planned all along?! After all this I don't really know what to believe anymore. Perhaps the government was behind the whole thing to draw the public's attention away from an even bigger news story that was taking place?

*conspiracy tinfoil hat time*
