It's absolutely true however there is a giant sticker that says OCTOBER 6 on it. So I'm not sure what would happen if they tried to ring up the sale. The computer might block it but I'm not sure. I have mine preordered at Best Buy so I'm not buying it.
 
Surprised at how many people were not away of the cut features such as online. to be honest. I wonder how many people will buy the game without knowing about that.
 
Just got an email that Best Buy changed the release date of my order (game and adapter) by a week. WTF? I pre-ordered like three months ago. Is this for everyone?
 
Amazon still can't tell me when I'll get the game and adapter. What's the point of slave labor If you can't get them to do anything, huh, Amazon?

I've online been following casually. I play a lot of rythm games but I just assumed this would have everything the previous games did. What kind of possible drama do we have then? Just so I know what to expect when(if) I buy it.

They've said that there is no download all button in game. Even once the store opens, you'll still be downloading one by one.

No practice mode and no online are the big ones.
Something about making setlists in quickplay not being available or something, and no custom characters while playing or something? I don't really know about the last 2.

They do plan on supporting the title post-launch with new features but I'm not sure if people are going to be okay with that.

For me personally this is a title I'll keep around for a while for sure, it will keep its value with all the new DLC they release. But I'm not sure what to expect in terms of game features on launch day.

I hope the game will be a success because that's better for the future of the entire franchise. We really do need the game to sell if we want these kind of games to continue to exist. But I am worried for the reviews because there's some things that might not be received too well.

Overall I'm very impressed with the availability of all the legacy DLC. The game is not out yet, and this can't be easy, all those files.
It will take a while to get it all on there but so far so good IMO.

I didn't realize that was cut either. It's not a huge deal to me, though I did expect RB4 to AT LEAST have all the amazing functionality 3 had, minus the keyboards. 3 is the minimum to me and ill be really let down if they don't have the same usability, though i'm expecting them to patch in missing stuff like online.

Some people have been getting emails saying their game and adapter are being upgraded to release date delivery. I haven't. Instead the my Amazon page says to expect my next delivery mid-November.

Makes me wonder if they couldn't have contacted RBN charters and see if they could communicate with artists they charted and published stuff for to get permission to re-publish songs.

I mean, for christs sake, we've got stuff like "The Touch" on RBN, and an ENTIRE Devin Townsend album!
 
So has anyone on NA PSN been able to find any dlc? I know they said that it is up, but I still don't see anything. I checked my EU account too and there is nothing there.

Went from the most important game of the year to complete meh for me. And ived played RB for 2500 hours atleast and invested tons of money in it.
 
I'm not entirely convinced about the "no RBN" thing. Rock Band's social media has misphrased statements before. I'd wait for that specific statement to come from the mouth of, say, Nick Chester.

Do we have any firm info on the release date shift? A few people have mentioned that their Best Buy orders got shifted, but I could easily see that being just a specific stock issue.

If bundles are already out on store shelves, I don't see them pushing the wide release an entire week unless the game is literally unplayable (which it clearly isn't, since people are already playing it).

And yeah, it seems like Harmonix's answer to RBN songs is just reaching out to artists and licencing them under a more traditional structure. Which is disappointing, since that service really was a great portal for unknown artists to reach a wide audience.

The EU PS3 version of Rock Band 2 was six months late. The EU Wii version was nearly a damn year late. This was with the backing of Viacom and EA too.

It's a good job I wasn't on GAF back then because I wouldn't stop moaning about it.

They are. Even though the HMX announcement came out for the PS4 as well, it looks like Sony hasn't actually updated the PSN Store. They might still do it over the weekend, so it doesn't hurt to check every few hours, but it's also possible they might not do it until the actual store update on Tuesday.

Yeah, I heard that. I don't have as many songs as some other hardcore fans, but I've still got a few hundred. I was hoping to have as many of them downloaded and ready to go before midnight Monday/Tuesday, so I could just get into it, but oh well...

I'm also bummed out about the no created stand-ins in your band decision, but I'll lie to myself about that and pretend that's coming in a patch.
 
How are people downloading their content early for Xbone? I didn't see an account history option like on the 360 anywhere.
