Mr. Robot is legitimately excellent, and I wouldn't be shocked if the lead gets an Emmy nod. Unlikely, but he does a great fucking job.

Having just caught up with Mr. Robot earlier this week I totally agree, but I wonder if being a summer show would hurt those chances.

Although if I do the math the second season would probably be premiering around the time Emmy nomination voting happens so hopefully they can ride that awareness. He's so good.

The minute he named both the leads of The Player and Blindspot, I knew he was a Strike Back fan. Clinton knows what's up.

Edit: The saddest part about the Sleepy Hollow ratings is it had such potential the first season and they wrecked it in the second season by trying to humanize the damn Headless Horseman and then making it about a jacked up love story with Ichabod and Katrina included.

I cannot believe i just watched Bill Clinton say the words Strike Back.

We need to get Clinton to send his goons to NBC to make sure The Player is renewed since Blindspot is pretty much a go for renewal.

I didn't even know people watched this show.

Guess i will watch the pilot on Netflix.

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
I remember when there was a time where the idea of Sleepy Hollow's inevitable cancellation would make me sad. Now I see it as a mercy.

To make my mind-boggling decision to keep up with this show worth something, please enjoy this painstakingly crafted list of 10 things that have actually happened on the CBS summer series Zoo.*

[...]

2) Lions that have escaped to downtown Los Angeles communicate telepathically with their lion friends in Botswana, so that they may lure out Renegade Zoologist Jackson Oz with a fake phone call.

[...]

9) A woman comes home, checks her mail, pours a glass of white wine, makes a sad salad, and then realizes she's being followed around by an enormous brown bear.

[...]
*These are the only parts of Zoo worth anything. I cannot in good faith recommend that you watch this series with your own eyes.

**Please do not watch Zoo.

BTW, I wish TVDW hadn't left the AV Club, I don't want to have to check both Vox and AV Club.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't NBC's Thursday Night lineup do better not on Thursday nights due to football?

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I tried watching Zoo once it was added to Netflix. I zoned out after 20 minutes and just let it play as a background noise while I wrote and did other stuff. It seemed pretty absurd, especially the last couple episodes.

Thank you, I've been waiting for this news for months.

I'm with you I've been trying to start new TV podcasts recently so I can replace them and have started four and already quit three. I started the TV Talk machine, the Very Good TV Podcast, Extra Hot Great and The Vulture TV Podcast, I've quit the first three, all because of the critics having (in my opinion) bad taste, and in the case of the Extra Hot Great podcast the host was so reductionist about FX tv shows that I never wanted to listen to his opinions again.

The only one I have stuck with is The Vulture TV Podcast entirely because they have had some interesting conversations, it's short and pretty tame when it comes to opinions.

I listen to Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan which is ok but very irregular so that's no replacement.

I guess what I am trying to say is there is nothing out there like the Firewall and Iceberg podcast were I completely respect their opinions even if I sometimes disagree. I'll really miss it.

Yeah, maybe Feinberg goes to Goodman's podcast and Sepinwall starts something with someone else... but there's really nothing left to listen to now. :(

Never watched House of Cards, and not only do I carry the channel that its on (or was) but I own the first 2 seasons on dvd

im a bad person :/

Dammit, I was just kind of enjoying Graceland again this season after last year's stinker. Ari was awesome, although now that he's dead they would've had to find a new badass. "Come on, guy!"

Why'd they do that? Sounds like an attempt to appeal to a certain segment of their demographics and it backfired spectacularly.

I also need to check out Strike Back and Banshee for that matter

Is Zoo the new Under the Dome?

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
USA has cancelled Graceland.

Good thing I got off that train after the second season. I so wanted it to be like a Californian White Collar, but it just wasn't.

Too much bullshit characterization that flew in the face of logical decisions to make drama. Blech.

My wife and I bailed after the first episode in S2. My eldest son was still watching it though. He was bummed when I told him it'd been canceled.

Playing House is good fun.

People watch wrestling?
That's the better question.

But yeah, USA has at least three shows I love to watch. Mr Robot, Playing House, and Suits. Although Suits creatively is starting to lose me.

That Zoo trailer is hilariously awful. They fall down a cliff being chased by lions, and then the trailer ends showing them backed up to the same cliff being approached by lions. Brilliant editing. If they cared that much about the trailer, I bet the actual show is a real winner.

Does anyone know whether this is the last season for H50? Like, do they know this is it? I hope if it's going out this year they have a chance to wrap up the loose ends on the overarching stories.

Wasn't H50 was one of the late renewals by CBS last year? And with that rating, I feel like it's a safe bet that the show will end this season.
