Disappointed
So that's it?
They have (embargoed) press events for late ports and announce new games on twitter?
What the fuck

Weeeell... I hope the final game will look better than that. Otherwise there's no reason for me to buy an additional version of LKS - those screenshots truly are quite ugly.

It obviously will.(if nothing changes):
Reminder, this is the Wii original on Dolphin:
And this is the PC version just announced (if nothing changes):
Sounds like the only people disappointed with this don't play on PC.
It obviously will, making this comparison fairly pointless.
I'm not sure why people get so hung up on embargoes for press events, it's pretty a standard and reasonable restriction.

I'm not particularly bothered by the embargo but if there's one, you better have something worth embargoing, like new stuff.I'm not sure why people get so hung up on embargoes for press events, it's pretty a standard and reasonable restriction.
I can genuinely say that Little King's Story might be the game to get me into PC gaming.
What an astonishing, out of nowhere piece of amazing news. I'm over the moon.
Game is an absolute masterpiece.
My first thought regarding Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus coming to PC: will it have a better framerate than it does on Vita? (please XSeed).
Standard, yes. Reasonable, I don't at all see how.

Did you somehow not play it on Wii or Vita?

It gives people time to write a story instead of rushing out of the event to put it up first. It works for everyone except impatient people on the internet that can't wait a day.
Yes... it gives people time to write a story, like N-Gage's Xanadu Next Coming to PC Next Year. The way it's written makes it sound like they think it was on N-Gage first and ported to PC later. They had all that time to do research.
Well I didn't claim the time would always be used well. Lazy reporting will remain lazy reporting. It still doesn't make event embargoes something to be outraged about.
HEAR THAT?!
THAT'S THE SOUND OF THE SONIC BOOM CREATED BY PEOPLE PREPARING TO MAKE NUDE MODS FOR SHINOVI VERSUS!!!
YEAHThe Steam version of Little King's Story will be a port of the Wii version of the game, which XSEED released in 2009.
I'm in two minds about LKS, it's nice that it's being rereleased, but at the same time XSEED doing it because they have the rights probably isn't the best thing for its exposure in terms of it reaching a new audience. With the retail market gone for this kind of game (Rising Star Games spearheaded its EU launch back in 2009) I'm not sure anyone who doesn't already follow XSEED's stuff will bother checking this out.
And with the original developers obviously not being around anymore or having any connection with this port, I do worry whether the button remapping/mouse/keyboard controls will be handled well. Luckily the original visuals scale up well to HD resolutions, or at least as they appear on Wii, not the flat, featureless PC port in its current state.
I guess it's better than the somewhat cynical reimagining Marvelous JP commissioned on the Vita -- if any platform should have got a port of the original that would have been a good start!
And probably 60FPS![]()
