Went well for Hillary if that's all they have to say.

Ugh reading the comments on that page is just depressing. It's really sad to think there are people out there who follow the "Hillary is a bad person and a liar" garbage.

This is why they did this, it was a win/win for them. No one had their minds changed today besides Dems that will probably vote for her.

do you guys really think this will help Hillary? honest question, how many do even watch this? how many didn't already have their opinions set in stone?

I honestly think Hillary just won the election tonight.

I kind of do too, the republicans only helped her out with this and hurt themselves horribly. This was a farce and a bad idea, probably why Boehner was initially against it, he probably knew how this was going to go down.

Hillary acted very Presidential tonight, I'm not even a fan of hers and she impressed me.

I'm already seeing the thinkpieces on how this was a "victory" for her. Number of people watching matters less than how this effects the news narrative around her

people are going to see news reports about this tomorrow morning and draw the same conclusions as everyone who wasted 11h out of their life watching

I don't think so. They were trying to derail Hillary tonight, and instead she just locked up the nomination, IMO.

I'm betting her numbers will go up in general polls as well.

So the selling point about why this committee was necessary is because this one has access to her e-mails and the others didn't. Yet over 11 hours of testimony, not one new piece of information discovered from those e-mails.

I agree, I wasn't a Hillary fan, though not a hater either. Just on the fence. I've moved over to a side after today

Yeah, thats what I ment with the second part, I should have said undecided Dems or weary Dems. I think she will get a huge bump too.

Nah, Fox is spinning it and I doubt the less ideological channels will be able to convey the pain of the 11 hours she deserves legend status for

I dislike Hilary if anything, and after today my opinion of her has improved greatly. Not just because of the way she handled herself, but because I feel sorry for her. 9/11 and Iraq, two incidents that were among the biggest fuck ups in American history, and instead it's Hilary getting publicly torn apart over Benhgazi? Really?

Someone posted this in the comments section of the coughing video:

"I am pretty sure that was SATAN about to come out from inside the MONSTER. Did she laugh and smile about her latest FOUR KILLED? Remember her cackling over Qaddafi. Come out SATAN. We know you are in there..."

We've been waiting 3 years for a "smoking gun" and this hearing was supposed to give it to us. It didn't happen. Nothing was exposed, nothing new was learned, it was a complete and total farce. Anyone on the fence now knows that this entire investigation into her emails or her involvement with Benghazi was nothing but bullshit.

republicans actually voted to not release all of the full transcripts to the public!

after gowdy criticized cummings for cherry picking which transcripts he was using in his arguments, cummings called his bluff and made a motion to follow along with what gowdy was saying and release all of the transcripts to prevent himself from supposedly cherry picking any more

then gowdy and all of the republicans of course voted no on, because they remembered that oops! we were the ones cherry picking lol

The only thing this investigation accomplished is just making a lot more people sympathize with Hillary. This can only be a good thing for her.

Guy on the phone just said American's aren't dumb.

I'm a veteran, love this country, like really love it.

But there are a TON of stupid fucking people here.

I missed the hearing for few hours...what is the context of the Hillary laugh gif?

she got asked a bunch of shitty super detailed questions about what she did that night where one of them was "were you alone that night" which led to

2942d27dc2.gif

and the question asker flipped and went "PEOPLE DIED" or something to that efffect

I would've been super pissed and cussing bitches out after two hours. For nothing else, props for lasting so long

The public hearings are designed to break you, especially the blatantly political ones like these. They are designed to get under your skin so you become a national spectacle. House of Cards showed this tactic when Underwood's wife goes for the confirmation hearing. All the quips the Republicans made, like Gowdy saying "want some time to read your lawyer notes?" or that Slingblade motherfucker from Kansas goes "leaders lead", they are told to get a reaction out of Hillary. She was ice cold, and did phenomenally well. Anyone with lesser experience like you or me would scream at the panel and call them pond scum on live air.

Dude is asking for a revolution because there is no middle ground in politics anymore.

He's right, there is no middle ground any more!

These days we have a center right party being slowly dragged into the abyss but fighting back vehemently... and a party ran by the people who hound the far right for not being far right enough.

Remember, not voting because "uguu both parties are the same" is a vote for an eternity of ace attorney benghazi edition

No way the Republican nominee will get under her skin in a debate, absolutely no way. Barring an economic downturn or legitimate scandal, they are done.

Wait, you mean to tell me that "establishment" candidates who have been in politics for fucking decades tend to know what to do when it comes to political bullshit? I never would have guessed!
