Sony : Paris Games Week press conference dated

That doesn't necessarily mean NMS will be there, I believe he basically has a position similar to Shahid, so he's signed and is a producer on plenty of games, NMS is just the highest profile one

Am I the only one who think that if a dev' says "and the game is out today ! Surprise !" it's a bad sign ? Like they don't want us to read any review and just go buy the game from what we've seen ?

I dont think they'll make it available after the conference, it's probably a release date, VR support or something like that.

It's not, the link wasn't working for me either but when I went on the account, that was the first tweet I saw.

Trying to link it https://twitter.com/TheSakeDiary/status/658747703648780288

Thanks, guys! =D

Oh well, guess the game will have a stage time tomorrow then.

FYI, Sean Murray isn't going to Paris (he said on Twitter, unless he pulls a David Jaffe :P ) and he usually does everything for No Man's Sky, (save for Hazel when she did a presentation on Procedural Generation), so IF it is there, someone will be there to announce it alongside other announcements. I think they might just have a section where they announce a load of games for PlayStation VR, either in a montage or whatever and indirectly confirming that No Man's Sky will be out for PSVR launch in 2016.

If his next game isn't a full game of the Dark Sorcerer then I will not care. His dramatic work have been terrible but I was willing to give him a chance for a comedic game.
You should still give him a chance in that case, as he has 2 American writers helping him out this time. He wont be the sole Director either. They changed things up quite a bit for their next title.

David Cage is going to have to step his game up. Until Dawn and Life is Strange have raised the bar for these sorts of games.
He is certainly doing all the right steps in that regard with the creative team on his next game. Plus it will likely feature a single city again, an approach that works much better to create an intense atmosphere than a globe trotting adventure.

Do you know something we don't or have I missed something?

So its like 15 hours till the conference, are we seriously saying there have been zero leaks? What kind of a tight ship is Sony running? This is either gonna be a horrible conference or Sony have an absolute belter of a conference coming up tomorrow. Im going for the latter.

After E3 and TGS, I think we're in for a treat both this PGW and PSX.

More like 20 hours.

Or it'll be a solid conference and it just so happens nothing's leaked yet.

I'm not an insider, I learn all the stuff I know by browsing the internet ;)

We do know that QD's PS4 game will be written by at least 3 people, Cage and two American writers. He will also have a French co-director who is experienced in both games and films. For that purpose they created a virtual camera studio that allows them to get these sort of people on board. Cage himself said he prefers directing over writing, so I'm assuming his writing input on the game won't be major, at least as far as the main plot is concerned.

Regarding game design they hired the lead designer of the cinematic portion of the Mass Effect franchise for instance, so its looking quite good there as well.

Alright, sounds awesome! Thanks for the info.

don' think NMS is releasing anytime soon. still think NMS and GT7 are going to be PS VR launch titles.

Same here, but I'm expecting official confirmation tomorrow. At least then we can rest assured we know when to expect it, and just sit it out until the time comes. Right now, there's a lot of No Man's Sky fans desperate for any kind of information, release date included. If we get confirmation tomorrow, that will be enough and we'll be counting down the days rather than scraping Twitter feeds and screencapping Vine's for any hints...

No Man's Sky is totally coming out tomorrow. Also, expect Ni no Kuni 2 to be announced, as well as Gran Turismo 7, an Evolution-developed WipEout, Ape Escape 4 and Puppeteer 2.

No release date for Rime though.
