Supposed to be one of the best guns too. As it one shots most things. I would save it for tough enemies

You can use him to get the gun that is locked in the vault early in the game. Supposed to be one of the best guns in the game too. Dogmeat is "Master lock doge!"
wut.Go back. Stand in front of the case. Ask the dog to fetch item. He'll go, open the container, and get the gun for you.
Here's a tip for the Workshop and a mini rant about its horrendous UI:
When walking around in Workshop mode, note how if you face certain items (and are close enough to them), they'll either highlight in yellow or green. Yellow items can only be broken down into parts, but green items can either be broken down or sent directly to the Workshop.
The game does a terrible job of conveying to you how exactly the storage system works. When you're browsing through items in Workshop mode, those in storage will have a number below their portrait representing how many of them are stored.
Here's an example in which I've stored one basic chair (notice the "1" below its portrait):
Although you can clearly see in the screenshot that this chair will supposedly cost me 4 Wood and 1 Plastic to place down, items in storage actually don't cost anything to place! After placing this chair, I'll still have 16 Wood and 8 Plastic to work with. If I were to place another immediately afterwards, however, it would cost me 4 Wood/1 Plastic since I'd already placed the one in storage.
Wouldn't it be nice if the game actually presented this information in a clearer manner, like greying out the resource requirements for items in storage or even replacing the number of required resources with 0s? The Workshop as a whole just feels like a rush job to me.
Supposed to be one of the best guns too. As it one shots most things. I would save it for tough enemiesSince it has only a 200 ammo thing. You can get ammo much more later in the game.
Bahhh might restart. I am not sure why I specced 7 STR to start. I have no intention of using melee weapons at all!
I MIGHT want to use heavy weapons but I am more interested in snipers and other precision weapons. Shotgun is fun too.
Is there a list of some of the big guns in the game?
Believe me I'd love to do that but my stupid fusion core is dead and I have yet to find another one. Not really searching as of yet as I've gotten side tracked doing so much stuff with my settlement - a feature I thought for sure I'd pass on. Addicted much? lolGuys, guys. You're making things harder for yourself than they need to be. Just bring some Power Armor and FUCK THEM UP. That video I just linked is on the hardest difficulty.

I usually hum and haw about things like this in every RPG so I just went 4 in every category.
Im starting to really like it tbh. It covers most of the things I want to do, and I have my eye on maybe one or two perks that are higher up.
I think for a first run through, 4s is a decent setup.
There's a specific one that appears in your Workshop as it's own entry for her. You don't build any of the ones in the default "Furniture -> Chairs" section.Speaking of chairs, how do I make the one for theShe keeps saying she can't wait for a nice chair and I've made like 30 of them and surrounded her but she won't sit in them.old seer woman at Sanctuary?

Just deposit it all into any Workbench. It will be broken down on the fly as you build stuffThis may be a super noob question, but I still haven't any other way to break down junk to it's usable components than to drop it all onto the ground, go into Workshop mode and break then down that way. Is there really no bench to be able to do this at?!
If this is the only way to do this, then someone on the Dev team should be fired...
I was so excited to play with the dog companion, but after 5 minutes he annoyed the fuck out of me with his barking, peeping and all those constant annoying sounds in my headset. Had to swap him for another companion. :<

When you access a bench hit "transfer" instead of the other option. Then, you will see a button that says "transfer all junk". I believe this will do what you need. The resources are then there in your workbench when you need them.

Just got it, thanks! That's hilarious.
For sure there's a fusion core in theSatellite dish building near Tenpines Bluff.

I think you're correct. I tried all the different ways as well.Man, for all the options it presents you, Unluckly Valentine seems to actually only shake out two ways.
.You have several options that make use of Charisma, but all of them that I tried (I got lost on the way out a couple times trying to find a good exit) end in Darla leaving and Skinny counting to 10. You can talk Darla down, or convince Skinny that Darla is the problem, or taunt both of them... but it seems like that's the only outcome besides attacking them unless I'm missing something
Not a *huge* deal since the characters are at least a lot of fun in that quest, but I hope this isn't indicative of how all the choices shake out.
After playing for 5 hours, I'm going to start over again.
I've spent too many points on CHR and now I also have a better impression what Fallout is about (first game in the series for me).
I do this all the time. Specially to free up my inventory and free the space. Really tempted to mod in a larger amount i can hold for items.

Dogmeat keeps disapearing, I saw him inside an elevator with me after a few hours of not seeing him, then he disapeared again, is this a known bug?
I have a weird relationship with this game. Sometimes it clicks and it's the best thing ever, other times it's the worst thing ever. I guess I just don't like the combat at all, and there's a lot of combat here.
But that doesn't help when you're trying to build Mods, right? I thought the Transfer was just to store materials for the Settlement building.
First thing I did was open the console and set my carryweight to 1,000,000. It's probably overkill, but I'm such a klepto in these games. Let's just say I'm ready for the broom dungeon.
Faction spoiler
Shieeeeeet, datintro. That was just absolutely the best moment so far.Brotherhood of Steel
Minuteman question.
if I help rebuild the Minutemen would that lock into their group? Without spoiling anything, if there are other groups I don't want to locked out.
Quoting for a fast page
Damn, where do i get screws, lol
I got so frustrated with him walking off cliffs and just disappearing that I took the Lone Wolf perk (or whatever it's called) and decided to just go about playing on my own. I like the added weight capacity and damage reduction along with not having to worry about my companions. I assume later I might need to revisit this but as it is now, I'm just going at things alone.Dogmeat keeps disapearing, I saw him inside an elevator with me after a few hours of not seeing him, then he disapeared again, is this a known bug?

You can join other factions.
Ugh. its just a command input right? i think i am gonna do that.
