I decided I was sick of him barking and getting in the way when shooting stuff so while at Sanctuary I talked to Preston and asked him to come with me and when given the option of where to send the dog (either Sanctuary or Red Rocket) I said Sanctuary. Then later when I decided I wanted to bring him with me I looked everywhere (in every house, all around the outside) I found every settler and Codsworth but no doggie.
Valentine is my favorite companion based on backstory and character, but I really like cogsworth because he mess's up raiders and ghouls big time.
He likes to hang out by the first house coming from the bridge where the food bench is. Towards the back of it there is a dog house that you can't get rid of. That is where i usually find him. Unless raiders attack and he is somewhere causing mayhem.
You should try there next time you dismiss him.

Wish I had known you could add new songs to the radio. I would have done the quest sooner if I had.

In the crafting station downgrade the weapon to the base parts. the improved mods will be place in you inventory. You can then place those mods on a new weapon as long at it is in the same class.

As it has been mentioned before tho. Its important to transfer all of the mods to the bench after you are done. Since unused mods will stay in your inventory and add to your weight. So free up the space by keeping them in the bench.

Bethesda's writing is just painful. I feel like the voiced main character just highlights this.
You can't really move them. What you can do is mod a modded weapon and give it the standard stuff (costs resources). The mods that were on it will then unattach.
Disappointed by the size of the soundtrack. Gets repetitive really fast. They really should have had more radio stations with more songs. Maybe an early rock and roll station, an early country/bluegrass/folk station, a 1940s war era station, and a pop station. That old music has to be super cheap to license.

Just experienced the weirdest glitch ive seen so far. Fast traveled to a location and saw an enemy, so I crouched down with my rifle. Next thing I know my framerate enters single digits, then stops with a load screen in the bottom right corner. All the land vanished, as well as the enemy. When the game unpaused I was falling 100 feet from the sky to my death.
So I wanna go explore but I also kinda want to find a cool base to take over that isn't just given to me. Any recommendations on cool base locations? Just say kinda vaguely where on the map relative to diamond city I should trek and I'll do the rest. Somewhere where I'd have to actually worry about getting raided might be nice, although I really don't know if that mechanic's even in the game lol

You know, if that's the case, I'm all for a mod that, well, allows yo to break a weapon down to it's mods instead of breaking down for a few pieces of steel/screws/etc.
Probably going to have to wait for the mod creator to be released though.

I'm on the hunt for Piper next time I start up. I sent her away while aboard the Prydwyn when it first shows up, and she's been MIA ever since. She's not in either settlement I would have sent her to, nor Diamond City. I'll find you, P.
I feel like finishing the game but I dont feel like stopping to play it... thats a first for me. This might be the mystical "youre still playing that game?" game that I've heard people play over the years and I never understood

Go into your Inventory, and you'll see that you can "Favourite" items by pressing something like R1 while in the menu, and it'll allow you to assign items to 3 slots in each direction of the D-Pad.
Isn't it just one of the higher upgrade options on the Power Armour you first get, or is it a whole different set? I haven't come across any myself yet...
On the pipboy with the 360 controller is RB. PS4 R1. Not sure on PC. even tho i play on PC.

The energy rifle at start of the game is great, that's what I used.

there's this bright white flash of light and all of a sudden I've teleported to another part of the quarry. I was very confused for about 10 seconds, and then all of a sudden I teleported back to where I was. WTF was this a weird glitch or is this something that's supposed to happen?
Dogmeat will sleep whereever he wants. I just found out theres another doghouse in sanctuary and i saw him in it.

yeah i dont like it either i save too much though.. 100 manual saves is the limit...
the save tiles are correct once you go to save management.. but i dont trust auto saves soo i backed up everything then uploaded 3 of my latest saves then deleted all but 10 or soo..lol ill have to do that a few times.. i damn near autosave before i open any door or load the wasteland.....
doing quests most of the day... i love that my play style makes most main quests last 1-2 hours long...
overall these are the best quests beth has done...
the only thing i fucking hate in the game is weight limit....
id give anything to do this
