Favorite quests in the game?
human error. it's literally the only quest that isn't a 'go to x and kill' or fetch quest and it stands out very much in particular because of that.
however, the last voyage of the u.s.s. constitution's finale is kind of fucking incredible so maybe that one? i wish you could do more with the gimmick there because it's fantastic

Daammnnn, son.

Was exploring around Med-Tek and heard some gunshots in the distance. So I pull out my scoped laser rifle and low and behold it's Lucas fighting off a Legendary Synth Strider, a couple of Mutand Hounds and two Super Mutants. I hurry to help in what is probably one of the craziest gun fights I've ever had in a Fallout game. I came out successful and got an Exterminator's Metal Right Arm and an Institute Pistol.

Fallout 4 is dynamic. I need to take a break and smoke a bowl, god damn.

Shooting mechanics are a glorious step up.

Ummm.. has anybody made it to
the garden terrace
on ps4? Its completely glitched out for me. Everything just goes bonkers and I fall through the map and die. It looks like such a cool area but as soon as I get there the game completely breaks down.

Wait, this is a thing!? Wish I would have known this when playing tonight. I will have to grab this next time I play.

Yeah im gonna get it after im done with the settlement perks because dogmeat is my fave anyway. But would suck if its a bug and they fix it

Edit: what quest is human error, cant remember if I did it.

I think it's not possible. I tried it using the command to set a character level when I was playing on PC, and it gave me a message on the console saying downleveling wasn't supported or something like it.

I think that's one of my most favorite things about the game. All of the dynamic encounters I come across, it happens just enough to where it's unique and special every time, it never gets stale or repetitive. Hearing gunshots in the distance, tracking it down and either finding everyone dead or a battle in progress. So awesome and I love it!

When you progress the story-line and the brotherhood vertibirds show up as encounters is even more glorious, seeing super mutants shoot missles at it is hilarious but awesome!

Found a holotape in a shack:
It's about a runaway girl who told her parents something on October 22, 2077 and her mom cried and her dad was shouting about how she should be ashamed. I'm pretty sure she came out to her parents and ran away the day before the bombs fell and her body is next to her suitcase. She died alone and scared.
:'(

I'm pretty sure that was about a pregnancy, I could've sworn there was a note or something mentioning a man.

Are we still assuming dogmeat not counting for Lone Wanderer is a bug or do we reckon its intended?

i think it's a bug, but I got it anyway.

During a load screen they had a thing about the lone wanderer and specifically said something like "without a companion or dog". Can't wait until I get the lovable trophy so I can get my dog back, I miss those 100 lbs :(

oh maybe i didnt listen well enough.

either way :'(

yea, regardless it was really sad. Wish the game had more notes and stuff aboute the life before the war, very rarely do i find things dealing about life before the bombs, or hell, even after the bombs. most terminals are just for turrets or locks.

Has there ever been mods for Bethesda games that allow fast travel while dragging something? Would be interesting to create a pile of every enemy killed without having to physically drag it across the map.

So after tinkering in the world for a little while, I want to get in and start building a settlement. Any tips for starting out...?

aaaaaaaaa

found a full x-01 suit in an abandoned house that was secretly a giant military base. Completely unmarked on the map.
YO, WHO SAID THEY HADNT SEEN A FULL SUIT, GET DISPROVED \o/

This is the video of the glitch. This sucks. No matter what I do. Even loading earlier games, its still there. I guess I wont get to explore this area.

Video is at
garden terrace
so a location and an enemy encounter spoiler are in there.

stupid glitch

Edit: oh my god. Its not just that area. Its an entire section of the map... any ideas? Tried loading earlier games. Would uninstalling and reinstalling the game make a difference you think?

Edit 2: restarted my Ps4 and it worked.. first time I ran into problems with the game. All is well now. Turns out I'm nowhere near ready for that part of the map lool. Just got murked in like 2 seconds.

I love how much stuff in this game is just unmarked. I find all kinds of stuff.

oh, wow. this guy

fallout%2B4%2Bdoorman.jpg

is fucking alive, as a ghoul. I randomly found him in the Goodneighbor hotel. and I was able to send him to Sanctuary.

that was a really nice surprise.

I haven't even got to that but as soon as I saw him run off in the start of the game I'm like "he's totally going to be somewhere later"

I can't wait to find him :D

I found that guy yesterday and my jaw hit the floor. It's so cool they included him later on.

**** no surprise for me, as someone says: curiosity killed the cat.

I encountered my first glitch, I was in power armor and tried to shoot piper with a weapon, and It threw me for half the map for some reason haha.

so does anyone know if it's ok to start going through all the faction quests? does doing some lock out others? i feel like im on eggshells everytime i start one.

Hey GAF, feeling like sharing a hint as to the location. During a radiation storm, so you have nothing locatable ;3

Its a glitch with ADS and the fact it moves you when you aim around corners, I'm kind of unsure how to activate it still tbh. Interesting whenever it happens though!

Wait this just hit me! This guy right there:

It could be a bit of a stretch but isn't he a reference to the Noodle Shop Scene from the Blade Runner?

Same greeting and (purposely) only understood a simple nod (yes) because Rick couldn't communicate with him properly.

You tried to shoot piper, thats the reason. You angered the waifu gods

Your suit doesn't have leg. If your level is high enough go to 35 court and you can find a complete X-01 Mk III

I feel like this game throws too many companions at you, some of which don't have a great reason for following you. Specifically, the two I have gotten around just reaching Diamond City
Piper and the Super Mutant
. In New Vegas the only companions I naturally encountered was Boone, Rex, and the Nightcrawler, the later of which I ignored because Boone was my boy.
