My in-laws have had a 40" Toshiba for 4+ years now with no issues. They have their apple tv hooked up to it and once in awhile game on it. Not heavy users, but they do have it on daily. Not sure if this helps since it's a LCD model rather than LED and doesn't have all the fancy smart options.

The best deal IMO is the $799 Samsung 4k 60 inch from Best Buy. Heck I just bought a 50 inch 4k vizio and I'm even considering selling it and getting the 60 inch.

Nah you won't need riot gear. You'll need to line up but Best Buy just passes out line tickets for each doorbuster. After you get a line ticket for a doorbuster item you want they give you like 3 hours or more to come back and buy it and they'll hold your item for you

I need an opinion.

I want a new laptop to replace my old ass desktop PC. I use it mainly for word processing, resumes, etc (things I can't really do on my iPad) and I want to play around with Windows 10 since I don't have any devices with that yet. A bonus is that I can take the laptop and plug it into my TV when I want to stream something or whatever.

I was looking at these two upcoming Black Friday deals and wanted your opinion. I feel like the Best Buy one would fit my needs good enough, but I don't know much about computer processors. The Microsoft Store deal has a screen that is full HD and a better processor for $100 more. Opinion please!

Unless of course there's a better deal on something I've missed, or can pick up now and avoid the Black Friday madness.
