Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

Guys, please let up on Conan-san and get back on track.

I appreciate the support, but I'm a big boy and did everything I could to address his concerns.

Next Incarnation probably hitting tomorrow morning, since we're still hammering out the final text.

And we managed to get more than 1M social reach!

Between that and the prototype on Steam, I'm hopeful that we'll see a big bump tomorrow.

Shantae already seems to have upped contributions, too - today, UTC-time, is already better than most days in the last week.
Big time

We haven't had a $20k day since day number 40 (at least going by my 9AM schedule). With some luck today will add up to $25k and the new average will be something like $25k again after the steam prototype and other announcements.

We know we know, gosh they grow up so fast.

Honestly the only real reason to be worried is that they kind of already had a bit of a last minute push, which might take a little away from the actual last minute push (I know I and others already upgraded several times for that 900k and I can't be the only one who can't go higher). Really though, even without thunderclap and steam 10 days before the goal is when one would expect things to start picking back up again no? Both of those things however should add in lots more people and I think we'll make it safely (not that we can rest on our laurels).

The nice thing about Labzero having so many buddies in the media is that this thing is going to get a Republique-style push in the last couple days that will get it over the top no matter what. And unlike that game, this one actually has an extremely polished high quality demo to help. I'd also expect a higher number of stragglers than usual thanks to Indiegogo's immediate money collection policies.

Not a good idea to get complacent though, I can't begin to imagine the stress the team is under having to wait until the last day or so before relief.

The campaign is over 1.1 Million right now, which I think is a good number for it to be when the Thunderclap hits. It shows the late backers that this goal of 1.5 Million is very much attainable.

Today is now the second best day since the extension. Could get to first if we get $5K more. Pretty cool, and the Thunderclap hasn't even happened yet.

I'm curious, has anyone followed a Kickstarter/IGG that had a Thunderclap? How effective was the Thunderclap? It is more a shot in the dark, or have other campaigns shown that a Thunderclap helps?

I'm sorry if this has been asked. But if the game gets funded, I sure hope it does. When can we expect a release? Next year?

The power of cheesecake...is undeniable

Lab Zero is just too honest, lol. Most crowdfunded games have way over-optimistic release dates. Can't think of a single crowdfunded game that delivered exactly on the date they promised (and most don't even release it on the same year they promise).

So I wanted to add a review on the Steam page to help promote the game, but I don't have the review box available, even though I installed it, and even let it run a few minutes (already played it on PS4, but in case you need a minimum of playtime to add reviews on Steam). I have 0.7 hours on record, and I see reviews by users who have less than that. Why can't I add a review? :(

The release date may be estimated around 14 months from now, but they've said they plan on rolling out updates to a steam beta over the course of development, much like with Skullgirls.

That's awesome.

Suppose it's about time to try the demo. Don't think I can hold back anymore.

The only kickstarter campaign I know of that had a Thunderclap associated with it is Combat Core (Kicktraq & Thunderclap). If I line up the campaign totals with the Thunderclap, it didn't seem to have much immediate impact but that campaign and this one are so different I'm not sure a comparison is really fruitful.

Yep, I can't think of a single major kickstarter project that delivered "on time". MN9 will be 10 months late and there is no universe in which I believe Bloodstained hits its March 2017 release date. The Yooka-Laylee release date, December 2016, seems super optimistic too even if they already have a decent amount of work already done.

To add a review, try clicking your username on Steam > Activity > Click "Games" located on the right > Recently played.

So a "scaly" then?

As long it's not furry then whatever.

But Tianhuo is a longma. Half-horse, half-dragon, covered in scales, no fur.
And do you have a problem with Lanshi? He has a lot of fur.

He's a normal dog and so pure and innocent. That thing still sounds like something a brony would want.

Sorry, I was just having fun. Though Cerium does raise a point with how the TFH devs have some connection with L0 so if there are more guests I wonder if it will be from them.

I'm really not expecting a sudden and amazing spike from the Thunderclap, it'll take time for people to see the messages after all, not every account getting them will actually be people, etc etc etc.

Should help though.

Edit: FYI, I'm going to up my donation in the next day or two.

Thanks so much!

And sorta surprised you hadn't already, honestly!

>_> I had job sad/bad times.

I haven't even played the prototype. Hell, I've never played Valkyrie Profile. I just think you folks are awesome. Too many small studios - especially ones who make games I like - are trolled by publishers. The fact that I basically just contributed well over $250 due to it helping unlock that $2m pot from 505 is a nice feeling, too.

I will own three different Lab Zero kickstarter t-shirts by the end of this.

Have some badass music to go with that giant heart above:

UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF LOVE.

~Hassam~

Once an eccentric professor at the Tower of Wisdom, Hassam is now an eccentric adventurer and inventor.

He has found a way to convert the surrounding energy of the world and nature, known as Prana, into the internal psychic energy, Iddhi, by way of a bizarre and rather clunky machine. Eager to study the effects of direct application of Iddhi, Hassam straps his invention to his back while traveling.

An ardent collector of artifacts and a constant learner, Hassam views the ever-expanding Iron Kingdom and its intellectual oppression as the world's greatest threat. Having recently learned of the fall of the Tower of Wisdom, he fears for the fate of his home lands, but has decided to continue his research for now.

He's heard talk of an especially interesting specimen - a small girl with a peculiar power...
